There is the real issue. Relativism is just assumed to be true in the world of government education, but it is still as mistaken an idea as ever.
Sure- but that's one individual. This is an entire government agency, (and a union...) and they have power over my money through taxation and laws.
First of all, he could have not waited until the US flag came out to ban flags. Secondly, he could not have banned the US Flag, but only foreign flags. After all, who were the instigators here? It certainly wasn't the ones displaying the US Flag.
I very carefully did not say "American" Flag, because the flags of Canada, Mexico, Argentinia, etc, are also American flags.
