I'll wager you could find practitioners of any totalitarian construct who were either benevolent or disinterested in advancing the ideology, and who were willing to live, and let live. Not all Communists or Fascists wanted to conquer everyone either. Many members of any ideology, (political or religious) are members merely for societal reasons. Many peaceful, *moderate* Muslims probably fall in that *disinterested* category

But empirical evidence indicates that intolerance for dissent or opposing philosophy, is a main tenet of all totalitarian ideologies. Islam, as a whole, shares almost all tenets of totalitarianism. .

Were it not for the penalties for being labeled an apostate, I would wager many "moderates" would abandon this intolerant belief system.

I believe Islam is inherently evil as becomes more obvious every day. Are there "good" Muslims? Perhaps but they sure must be scared of the "other" Muslims because I sure don't hear them speaking up. But it is refreshing that you do understand at least some Muslims need to be killed.

They are speaking up. Of course, you are not seeing it reported because that would be progress.

The evidence of this is that in the wake of the Golden Dome bombing, a civil war was avoided. That was not luck, it was good Muslims reasoning with their followers to reject violence.

Do we need more Muslims to speak out? Yes! But a huge part of our strategy in the war on terror is to elevate the good Muslims and pit them against the evil Muslims so we don't have to fight them all.
