Thank you for your insight and honesty.
I would have probably protested the political BS (Mostly by the arrogance of the Johnson Admin and by protecting business interest in North Vietnam that were owned by American companies) if I was in college but not our involvement.
If their is an ideological difference to a particular military act I am against I call my congresscritter or campaign for a different one.

"And it'll happen again if the Republicans don't wise up, and fast."
I think both you and lib are wrong. You seem to be unaware that there is an elitist group that have co-opted both parties, and quite frankly don't give a damn what the American people want, nor do they care about Representation.
All one need do is listen to GWB use the word Democracy in describing the USA all the time to know that our Government has abandoned the Representative Republic of the USA and to use a "Savagism" are engaged in a "two card Monte".
They really ought to put on the Togas and start calling themselves Romans.

It still calls for the same solution at the voting booth.

You stated: "Yes, and Bush refusing to discuss that part of the equation makes Bush anti-American. You can't talk about "coming here to work" without addressing the fact for every one "worker" he brings the wife, the seven kids, the three uncles, four grandparents etc. and they all draw welfare, or soon will draw welfare, once they learn the ropes and get their "legal status".
Bush is also importing a one-party system. Once these people vote, the RATs will have a lock on Congress and the WH for eternity.
Everything you said needs repeating. BTTT
