More headlines about this recent poll can be found on the
sayfiereview.com One of the articles reported
Gov Jeb Bush has always had an approval rating of at least 52% throughout the eight years he's been in office.
IMO, that is pretty spectacular for a GOP governor who has stuck to his conservative principles in a state with more hurricanes and education reforms than any other state, and more registered Dems than GOP voters.

Even my favorite Dem site won some kudos from me today, when they
respectfully referred to Gov Jeb Bush as "Gov Bush" instead of the derogatory terms they often use so needlessly. The Dem site was apparently in awe of Gov Bush for being ethical enough to know and state that there may have been improper conduct in the investigation of a recent boot camp matter. The Dem site headline was this:
Gov. Bush: Official Shouldn't Have E-Mailed with a county sheriff while the state investigated the death of a teenager who was punched and kicked by guards at the county's boot camp 3/30
This is a far cry from their usual: "Jeb's Florida [whatever derogatory remarks they write next]"
The article the Dem site was linking is in today' Washington Post
HERE.

I love Jeb too. But Florida is a wreck. It's a virtual police state yet seems to lack the brass to prevent some sick lawyers from starving a disabled woman.

The St Petersberg Times is deeply saddened to hear this.

Most of the Dems in Florida are conservatives who haven't switched to the GOP. We're going to see another Republican Governor elected in the Sunshine State this November.

I don't think he'll do well in national politics, folks tired of bush's.

I don't know, Joe. People in Florida would certainly vote for him for national office if he ran in 2012, and they're the voters who know him best.

It's too bad that Jeb Bush is burned out on public life.
