Yes, it was idiotic that speculation was made public.
Doesn't help morale either.

A good dog killing morning no-knock raid on the wrong house will put them all back in smiles.

That made no sense to me. Who is Greta?

No knock raid on the wrong house?
You know, gangbangers are better known for hitting the wrong targets, right?

You know, gangbangers are better known for hitting the wrong targets, right? Wrong targets?? Anything a criminal 'hits' is a wrong target.
Are you comparing legal no-knock warrants signed by a judge, but just ignored, to gang activity for the sake of assigning a percentage?

"the experts"
It's you that came up with that... I don't even agree (but I did watch Manix on TV years ago). You just have to look at these things logically, that's all. They will solve this most likely. We'll just have to see how it turns out.
As for her shooting herself twice accidentally... Anyone with any brains wouldn't suggest that. Unless they didn't realize there were two slugs... A 22 is not likely to leave an exit wound if it's in a part of the body that would be fatal. Cops usually carry a 9mm or larger. the lack of an exit wound should have been a clue that it wasn't her gun.

Feel better? I doubt that you've read them, since you responded to #3. Get a life...

Sometimes the motive is to "kill your man"(or woman) and earn your stripes, which is almost no motive at all and one of the most monsterous motives I can think of, but it happens.

Sheriff Lee Baca initially said the positions of Rosa's body and condition of her gun suggested she may have accidentally fired it as she loaded equipment into her car. Yep, very astute comment. She shot herself TWICE then removed the spent shells and reloaded then died. Does anyone else think "da sherf" is a few bricks short of a load?

I can say Lee Baca is an idiot can't I?You surely can say that. What a deduction by a law official. I hope he doesn't investigate any other crimes.

...why would a .22 indicate a professional job?
.22 LR is one of the best... light, easily concealed, very accurate for greater distances, penetrates body armor, higher capacity magazines, does a lot of internal damage deflecting around inside the body, cheap, disposable, relatively quiet, etc., etc...
To: La Enchiladita
Well, in this instance, you are speculating.Yes, that should be the investigators job.

Neither do other peace officers.
I agree. IA is going to have to look into it though... I actually think, given the political climate in L.A., the FBI should also take a look...
To: zip; JoeSixPack1; BurbankKarl
Internal Affairs needs to investigate... I think the political climate of Los Angeles should also have the FBI looking at it as well...
