I am beginning to slide that way. I live in Maryland and have two dems for Senators - Butch and Sarbanes. Sarbanes is beyond calling though I did anway. I talked with a extremely terse and impatiant woman who said Sarbanes supports the legislation and will vote for it. He is leaving and none of his staff do not care. I can not get through to Butch - the phone is busy. I wonder if they have it off the line on purpose. As Jack Nicholson said in the Batman movie, we've been ratted out, boys.

Already contacted Sens. Isakson and Chambliss, spoke with a staffer for the latter and she seemed to suggest that Sen. Chambliss was against the Specter/McCain/Kennedy madness.

Given that the RINOs (Specter, McCain, Snowe, Chafee, etc.) WILL sell us out, anyone with Dem Senators in rust belt states with heavy middle/working class constituents need to to call/fax/write as well (Sen. Byrd comes to mind.) Don't forget that there is a huge increase in legal immigration buried in this awful bill, including H1-Bs that will export tech jobs or more precisely "insource" them to foreigners.

BTW, your hero tom tancredo could have reached out to his Senate colleagues, Kyl/Cornyn to get something done, but I guess having the issue and the PAC funds that come from that issue is more important to him.

Why not? Tell them they can't vote, they can't drive, the IRS wants to check their returns, they no longer get 100% free medical, and the INS is going start the process to make them leave. Then we get the INS to grow a set and kick them out.

I emailed both my senators from Arkansas yesterday as well as VP Cheney. I reminded the Senators that election was coming up. We do not need these illegals here. I reminded them that if allowed its like making a bank robber give the money back, and saying don't do that again, now go home. Pryor and Lincoln are so liberal and follow party lines I do not think they will listen. I did remind them as a constituent, I help pay their salary and they should take note of that.
