Thanks, Dallas, I'm sending this to everyone I know.

For some reason, these SOB's think they have the God given right to traipse, back and forth, over our border as they please. Not so.

I got concerned about "illegal aliens" in 1995. My husband was working in Laredo, TX. We, like good tourists, made the trip across the border. On the way back across the bridge, we, along with about 200 other AMERICANS, saw a Mexican wading across the river. When we all protested to the American border guard, he nonchalantly informed us "Oh, they do that all the time". The irony was just too much for me, and all those other Americans standing on the bridge waiting to get back into our own country, this illegal scum had an easier time getting into our country than we did. He didn't even have to wait in line!

They aren't being fair to LEGAL card holding workers. Not every Mexican wants to live here or wants this to become another "Mexico". At least the ones that are smart.

I'm calling the Judiciary Committee tomorrow, and telling them I'm choosing not to pay my taxes this year. Since we can now pick and choose which laws we obey, I chose not to pay taxes. Let the politicos worry about not having my money to spend. When they run out of money maybe they will listen to this voter.

Nice post.

With so many real Americans opposing the current immigration status quo, I'd bet that a good, solid anti illegal alien position would make a good presidential campaign plank. Add a good, solid pro-FairTax plank and I think we'd have a winner!

Sorry to say it, but we have unwittingly elected French-style surrender monkeys to the US Senate.

This is an issue where the politicos in Washington are running scared. The demonstrations that took place the other day are probably making them shake in their boots. They don't care what the majority of Americans think today--they are looking toward the day after tommorrow, with an anticipated Hispanic majority. Of course, their actions are making this MORE, not LESS, likely. In effect, they are assuming that there is no way to solve this problem, so they are rolling over and surrendering. The acid test (as always) is that Ted Kennedy praised the legislation.

It really burns me everytime one of the guys gets on the tube and says: "well, we tried enforcement, but it did't work". Wrong, Clyde. Enforcement at the border was tried (albeit, halfheartedly), but enforcement in the heartland was completely ignored. And that is the crux of the problem. We are too gutless to enforce our own laws, because someone might see us doing it and call us racists. Well, boo hoo.

Frankly, it may be too late to save the country as well know it. The current generation of politicans are too weak-kneed and most Americans are too apathetic--preoccupied working 14 hour days to pay taxes. America will become a banana republic because the US Senate refuses to listen to a majority of its citizens.

"Gallup analyst Dennis Jacobe was surprised by the findings, saying, "When eight in 10 of those individuals who probably benefit the most from illegal immigration want the federal government to act to prevent..."

Need we say more? We are being sold down the river by President Bush and the RINO Party.

We are caring for our families, and making money to pay the welfare and medical costs of the criminals who were out trying to scare us.

I was about to say "We are working and taking care of our families," but your answer is far better than mine.

Thanks for saying what we all (except for the lamestream media) know to be true.
