Unless they think for themselves, of course.

The artificial intelligence in "simple" FPS games like Half-Life 2 (bad guys run away, hide, ambush, stay out of range of chosen weapon, get reinforcements, etc.) is already pretty complex. Not a huge stretch to have AI come into play if the uplink is nailed.

But yes, I agree home C&C would then be the weak link.
