Yes, I notice them. I also notice plenty of American flags have been likewise handed out. The participants have been outfitted and briefed well. I'm sure many will be voting in Nov.

I'm sure many will be voting in Nov. Scary, but true.

The GOP and Bush picked up Hispanic votes in 2004.Bush picked up the vote in Cameron County, Texas. This is the Brownsville area and highly democrat. Several months prior to the election the Catholic Bishop in Brownsville ran half page ads about abortion. These ads were run in the Harlingen and McAllen newspapers also. Every other democrat candidate won by a landslide in Cameron County. The only reason Bush got the vote was abortion and the Bishop.

On your post #273.
Oh,oh, another old "truism" gone down the tubes. It being that "photographs cannot lie".
Well, with some fast editing, the truth can get a good downward shove.
I pray for some sort of resolving of this business. Possibly the task may now be, to try to restrict the numbers of illegals now flooding in. There a deal hyperbole by the illegals supporters. They are claiming that all 11 million are in danger of being sent back, shows what lengths certain people will go to.
The bottom line is control.

Hispanics in NM have been there for generations and many consider themselves to be Americans and have a strong dislike for illegals You're right about that. I have MANY Hispanic friends and they are all VERY unhappy about the invasion too. They, unlike the illegals, have assimilated into our culture generations ago. They, unlike the illegals are proud to be Americans. Many families have lost the ability to speak Spanish because they refused to let their kids speak it growing up. They insisted that they were Americans and had to speak English.

First; please reread before you post.
Second; FR has a great spell checker. Use it.
Third; Search on the keywords "Troll" and "Zot." If you see similarities between your spelling and grammar and the zotted Trolls you may want to work on your writing.
Welcome to FR.

georgia2006 said "immigration is like cancer."
I responded to him stating that I welcome those who come to the U.S. legally.
Your response to me was "Why does this have to be repeated 10 million times? This is not the issue!"
I was responding to his comment. What does this have to do with you?

I reread my post and it didn't have anything to do with a work plan. So I don't know what Georgia is talking about. Since I don't hire illegals, I have no idea what the pay is for Algerians or Moroccans.

I replied to him again in a more civil manner. The problem is the left won't differentiate between legal and illegal immigration.
I was under the impression he or she was trolling.
Thanks for being a voice of reason. ;)

I think the wall is the best course. I say build a wall on our Mexican border just like Israel has built along the Palestinian border. I have heard that it will cost us about $4.5 billion to build a double wall barrier. This system would allow vehicles to travel down its length to catch any tunneling efforts or clandestine efforts to climb over. Air surveillance and high tech sensor information would trigger human action. When you compare the cost to what the extra border guards would cost, it would be a bargain.
We cannot send back all the illegals because they have entwined themselves in the labor system that businesses depend upon to meet their production needs. This system is too delicate to use baseball bat methods of correction. The labor system needs to be slowly weaned off the cheap labor market. A planned construction of the barrier system would control the rate at which the cheap labor market was taken off line.

...and your plagerism in your post does not make your case. Whaaat! I posted a quote and a link to the source. You're not too bright, are you...
Yes georgia2006 is a total moron.
His logic, spelling, punctuation and grammar reflect that he was probably "educated" in a Third World country.
I'll flush twice next time so I can send sustenance to his family in Mex-i-co.
He's starting to miss pe off.

It is interesting how suddenly the protests have sprung up against the legislative action. Someone is organizing the protests. The effort could rally support by the DemonRATs in the House and Senate who are quick to exploit the situation for their own political advantage. The real question is could the DemonRATs have calculated the strategy to sabotage real immigration reform by instigating the demonstrations? This could position themselves as for the interests of the illegal Mexicans and turn the tables on the Republican Party as the reform legislation begins to gear up.

I've been to Mexico and Argentina on business assignments. I would never get near that God-foresaken Third World sh!t hole. IMO
BTW, why not return to where you came from? I did, then again I'm a seventh generation American whose forefathers emigrated from Germany and England legally.
