I suppose asking about Santa Claus is repetitive?

This reminds me of one of those old movies when the Christian holds a cross to scare off the werewolves!
Boy, those freaks are upset aren't they? GOTTA LOVE IT!

I wanted to go by this afternoon's rally but couldn't get away. Sorry I missed it. It's too bad the weather sucks. It's raining pretty hard right now. Could be cold and wet out at the ballpark tomorrow.

The people that are condemning the Christians are so blinded by their lusts that they cannot see.
I cannot help but wonder if homosexualism and homofascism is not part of the "strong delusion" that those who refuse to believe will be handed over to in the last days.

"they're loud, they're obnoxious, they're disgusting, and they should get out of San Francisco..."
I guess the shoe is now on the other foot...borrowing a page from 60's hippies, except now the youth are marching for God.

I had no idea it was happening. At any rate, I had to work today, and take care of domestic stuff this evening. Plus, 45 YO Anglo-Catholic/"Western Orthodox" adherent probably would have felt seriously out of place amongst a stadium full of Evangelical brothers & sisters mostly young enough to be my kids.
Question: If this had been a rally of Muslims with anidentical theme (or for that matter, open and blatant anti-gay and anti-woman rhetoric), do you think the SF Stupes would've condemned it? Or would they have issued some sort of proclamation praising it as evidence of San Fran's wonderful diversity?

More than 25,000 evangelical Christian youth landed Friday in San Francisco for a two-day rally at AT&T Park against "the virtue terrorism" of popular culture, and they were greeted by an official city condemnation and a clutch of protesters who said their event amounted to a "fascist mega-pep rally."
IOW the chicken hawks were out in force.

"Mark Leno, D-San Francisco, who told counterprotesters at City Hall on Friday that while such fundamentalists may be small in number, "they're loud, they're obnoxious, they're disgusting, and they should get out of San Francisco..." Fundamentalists? My goodness, are they so afraid of the word of God that they cringe in fear and start labeling a bunch of moraly grounded youth as "Fundamentalists"? I wonder what would have happened if they sprayed holy water around. THe pic of the anti-Christ protestors says it all. The strange thing is, these crazy moonbats support Islam, which in Iraq (and elsewhere) Al Sadr's religious police are killing all fags the can find. Even Sistani issued a fatwa saying all fags should be killed. (MSM doesn't report these things however.

There's another dynamic at work here. Many SF residents were raised in small towns in the South, Midwest and Southeast. They left for obvious reasons.

What the heck is that thing?
To: TFFKAMM
Yeah, I was just talking about going by the pre-rally at City Hall. I'm about the same age as you and nominally Episcopalian so the stadium thing was not really for me anyway. Sup. Leno's statement was outrageous, that the ralliers needed to "get out of San Francisco". What crap! That's why I wanted to go to City Hall; to tell the gay nazis to stuff a sock in it! And no, they'd never say this to any group except Christians and right-to-lifers.
To: metmom
Sister with penises. It doesn't sound "Catholic" to me. Maybe Presbyterian or United.
To: dbb
" What positions would you have a person elected by his/or/her constituents in SanFran to hold?" One of tolerance. You know, what THEY always complain about. Sounds like SF is your kind of town, anything goes, and morality is whatever is relevant today. If it feels good do it, etc.
To: rogue yam
The lingering sympathy many of us have had for San Francisco is evaporating. That's twice in two days the City Council has condemned Christian organizations for activities which are both lawful and encouraged in other parts of the country. This sort of despicable behavior is intolerable.

they were greeted by an official city condemnation I thought the city was supposed to be NEUTRAL on the subject of religion. When the denounce one faith, they have violated Church and State. Where the Hell is the "havent' got A CLUe"?
