I have always believed the most humorous things in life come from true events.

One of my friends was bad mouthin' Prez. Bush the other day and I told him, "yeah, the only thing WORSE is all the alternatives" My statement to someone the other day was very close. "And just who did you have to run that could do any better? In fact I would hate to see how far the situation would have digressed with F'n Kerry in office!"

The "war" is not Unpopular with me. Now then his stances on spending and borders and the "ROP" myth are unpopular with me..

The folks at the DailyKos love it and him. The Democratic leadership need to find a suitable rubber room for those folks if the expect to win anything come Nov.

I know it is popular with us, but unfortunately most of the country is not "us". If it were we would not have a fraction of the problems we currently do.

"After mid-terms"

Unless the dems take over the House and Senate .. there will be no Centure or Impeachment! It's that simple.

So .. all you chicken little's out there who thought you could stay home and not vote in the next election BETTER PUT YOUR HEAD BACK ON YOUR SHOULDERS - and get out there and vote.

And .. while you're at it, remember we need to stack the House and Senate with REPUBLICANS - in order to keep the dems from have one tittle of a chance to censure or do anything to our fine President.

And .. while you're at it .. buy the book, "Rebel in Chief" - you would be astounded what you will find out about our President. It's a facinating book. Bush is not the bad guy - and I found out just today that Blair was saying the same things as Bush said about Iraq - but Blair said it sooner.

As President Bush gets off the helicopter in front of the White
House, he is carrying a baby pig under each arm.

The squared away Marine guard snaps to attention,
salutes, and says: "Nice pigs, sir."

The President replies: "These are not pigs, these are
authentic Texan
Razorback Hogs. I got one for Senator Ted Kennedy, and
I got one for Senator John Kerry."

The squared away Marine again snaps to attention,
salutes, and says,
"Nice trade, sir."

"...Texan Razorback Hogs..."

Great joke, but as one who has adopted Texas as his home state, I have to clarify the fact that Razorbacks belong to Arkansas. Our state porker is probably the javelina.

The Democrat's frustration is caused by disagreements among them of how to stop the decline of the party.

Democrats are seen by too many as a socialist party. They have lost election after election at all levels of government. Voters have deserted them in droves and money is hard to come by except from wealthy socialists and foreign sources.

Democrat's time tested issues that have always carried them through is class-warfare, employment and the economy. John Edwards John Kerry's vice presidential candidate blew that one with his "Two Americas" speeches.

Employment is at record highs. In fact there is a serious labor shortage in America among semi-skilled and skilled workers. Even illegal aliens can easily find work at pay levels of $10 per hour and higher.

The economy is also at record highs, inflation is at record lows and while incomes are not rising as fast as they could (except for the salaries for politicians) Americans are happy with things as they are.

Democrats must try and run as conservatives or moderates and avoid the liberal tag. this is difficult for a leftist to do since he wants to tear down the system he proports to want to preserve.

I seriously believe that Democrats will resort to a conspiracy to cause a terrorists attack or they might even try a military coup to take over the government.

In the meantime they must depend on character assassination, lies, and temptests in teacups to keep their name before the public.

They are a danger to the average citizens because they are getting more desperate every day.

I think they've acknowledged they are running against him in '08, whether he's on the ticket or not.

"I think they've acknowledged they are running against him in '08, whether he's on the ticket or not." Why not? They're planning on running Gore or Kerry and maybe both against him aren't they? GORE/KERRY 2008 CONDI/W 2008

It's fun to listen to the dems complain about the lack of "nuance" in the Bush administration when they then have a binary opinion about their leadership. Their is absolutely no nuance when Joe Liberman went from prince of the party to Bush lacky with one comment. One day Pesoli is the greatest thing since sliced bread then the next she is an idiot. They remind me of a spoiled brat that has a temper tamtrum everytime they don't get their way.

I disagree with Feingold on almost everything, but I wish more Republicans who had the same courage of their convictions that Feingold has.

Feingold's shown an ability to cultivate high popularity in Wisconsin, which is a quite moderate state.

If the left can can do with him in the primaries what they couldn't do with Howard Dean -- get their man in over the choice of the Washington establishment (Hillary in 2008, Kerry in 2004) -- they'll have a formidable opponent to whovever the Republican put up. If we put up our own DC-establishment cipher (say, George Allen) we're in real trouble.
