I suspect the extremely high tuition at Lehigh (approx. $31K/yr) chases a lot of prospective students away. Most underprivileged/minority students are going to need major freebies to get in there. That's what the "diversity" demands are all about.
"Another student yelled, ''Ching-Chang-Chong!'' at her."
If I was the Chinese girl's father, I'd be plenty ticked off over that. Forget the diversity BS, but it looks like some of the student body could use a smack in the mouth and a lesson in common courtesy.
"There are too many white kids at this school. We are going to protest and agitate until you stop letting so many in."
Oh, the horrors. Did you think frat parties were the epitome of sophistication?
he was surrounded by six security guards at a Greek fraternity. The security guards asked him to leave a fraternity party minutes after he arrived because ''the brothers didn't want me there.''
I'm sorry, I didn't realize "diversity" meant you can attend any party you like, despite the wishes of the hosts.

I knew Jeannie when I went to Lehigh. She was a sweet and outgoing girl. For what it's worth, the word around campus at the time was that Henry was there as part of an affirmative action program.
OK you asked for it:

Gentlemen:
During the past five years, articles appearing in the Lehigh Alumni Bulletin and the online version of The Brown and White have reported on events that have caused me no small amount of distress. The following examples signal that Lehigh has lost its purpose and is adrift in a sea of diversity hysteria.
Vice Provost of Student Affairs, John Smeaton, removal of the American flag from a Lehigh bus(es) after the attacks on September 11, 2001 to prevent offending the diverse international population at Lehigh.
Annual production of Eve Enslers poisonously anti-male play, The Vagina Monologues, during which, students are led to believe they being liberated by howling four letter words for female genitalia.
Expansion of the V-Day movement into a V-Week as apparently one day is not enough to fully excoriate males at Lehigh.
The mixed message provided by the distribution of free raspberry flavored condoms by the Womens Center.
The parade of progressive speakers whose curriculum vitae is not fully disclosed and whose wild assertions go unchallenged.
Bobby Seale dishonorably discharged from the Air Force, co-founder of the Marxist revolutionary group Black Panthers and Chicago Eight defendant.
Fomer Communist Party USA vice presidential candidate, Angela Davis, winner of the Lenin Peace Prize and an honorary professor at Moscow State University.
Street corner hustler Al Sharpton, who specializes in race baiting e,g., Freddie's Fashion Mart and the Tawanay Brawley case.
The persistent effort by the the universitys administration, under the guise of promoting diversity to educate students about the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered communities.
Dean of Multicultural Affairs, Cecilia Stanton, reportedly stated that college students can be very closed-minded or misinformed about the gay community. Implying that students are wrong to question the validity of or openly oppose the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered lifestyles.
Establishment the student organization, SPECTRUM by the Student Senate at the behest of three students and the Office of Multicultural Affairs to make Lehigh a place where all sexual orientations are welcomed.
Observance of National Coming Out day which reportedly is a week of activities to educate [indoctrinate] the campus about issues in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning community.
Grand opening of the Rainbow Room where the Vice Provost of Student Affairs, John Smeaton, said, the Rainbow Room will encourage diversity, which is one objective that President Gregory Farrington outlined in his strategic eight-part plan for Lehigh in 2001.
Dean of Students, Sharon Basso, said the establishment of the Rainbow Room is part of building a larger, more diverse Lehigh community.
The announcement in Alumni Connection Newsletter that the Alumni Association is extremely pleased with the efforts to form a Lehigh Lesbian and Gay Alumni Council inspired by models at Ivy League schools to provide financial, strategic and mentoring support for lesbian and gay activities on campus.
The lack of intellectual courage by the Board of Trustees, the Administration and the Alumni Association is discouraging. The week long anti-male saturnalia promoted by the Womens Center promoting the denigration of men is sophomoric. The lack of diversity in or competition for the progressive ideas being presented at the university by individuals of dubious qualification. The lack of questioning the logic or probity of the gay lifestyle by the Board of Trustees and the Alumni Association is gutless approbation as if raising questions would somehow be a phobic reaction.
Lehigh University has become merely another stylish, Eastern, Ivy League wants to be institution. This was not the vision of Asa Packer and is not mine. I can not condone the actions of the Board of Trustees nor the Alumni Association.
Very truly yours,

I haven't checked it out but wondering what is the diversity of the basketball team?
Actually pretty good mix. Folks in the Patriot League (Bucknell) are trying to maintain some academic credibility.
The group imvolved in the women's center appear to be the location of the hard core left on campus. The problem is that the College of Arts and Sciences has become the largest college where before Engineering was the largest. Engineers and Business majors don't have time for foolishness.
It's not surprising that the neo-marxists have systematically destroyed the curricula.
Heck, even pseudo-conservatives like Dubya have nothing but disdain for our domestic industries.
