We had a girl in my high school class who acted ditzy. She was extremely pretty and also smart. I don't think she was acting either, it was just her personality.
She had one of the highest scores on the senior placement test.

That's the problem, don't make it simple. Put some logic to it and then it will make sense.By participating in a Republican Fund-raiser featuring President Bush, Simpson would alienate fully half of her audience (perhaps more, the guy isn't exactly popular right now).
Why should she court negative public opinion when she is trying to promote a charity?
