Predators won't stop anyone from crossing the border, but it will videotape them....I guess I don't see the correlation....

I suspect this will be a training unit - but I could be all wrong.

We've already had at least one unit from SC here training for SWA duty. They perform border surveillance to kill two birds with one stone; the border mission closely parallels what they do in SWA.

I'm sorry, Mike - I didn't address the quote in my last post.

Mrs. HJ had jury duty last year in a trial of two people accused of human smuggling and running a drop-house. UAV video and operator logs were used as evidence against the defendants, and were instrumental in returning a guilty verdict.

For now, that's the correlation between Predators and controlling the border.
