What lying shills you open borders globalists are !

You indicate the problem we have with Gulf Arabs. They haven't met any Americans who weren't corrupt to the bone.

How very true. This issue has exposed the greed and corruption of some in the economic conservative GOP. Notice how their arguments are shifting from ...

"We should support our allies the UAE"

to

"I could have made a ton of money on this deal !!! You cost me a lot of business".

Didn't answer the question.

How do you know nobody wants to change? Got any sources for that that aren't MSM or Islamist?

The "man in the street" is probably not an Emirati. They ride.

Only a fool assumes that anyone wants to change without visible proof. Every stupid, bitterly regretted romantic choice ever made began with, "I can change him/her". I don't have to persuade you the Muslim world wants to change. The Muslim world has to persuade me that it wants to change.

Greed is good. You do believe in capitalism, or is that an unwarranted assumption on my part?

I spent money in Dubai. Never made any there.

Ugly post. Who's the racist? In my book, you just demonstrated that you are.

Past tense. You don't oppose it anymore?

Here's a question I have: since the anti-Dubai people carried the day, why are they still so darned angry?

Miss Marple,
They are always angry. It is easier to yell than to think.

If I may butt in, ma'am, they are still so darn angry because the truth hurts. They resent being called on being suckers for Chuck Schumer's BS, for being ignorant of how ports work, for not knowing one Middle Eastern country from another, for being chickensh!ts, and for trying to stab the Commander-in-Chief and all our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq in the back in time of war while loudly proclaiming what patriots they are.

Well, it was a rhetorical question. LOL! I was rereading the thread this morning and was struck by the anger.

"If you think America can sit back and isolate ourselves at this point, you are sadly mistaken. The world will go on right past us."

You're confusing isolation with protection (defense). This deal was about them gaining more leverage on our shores. Isolationism would have been for us to completely withdraw from our dealings with them and close our base.

Should most of the shipping be American-flag carriers?

The ones exporting. We can't import from ourselves.

And we don't have enough shipping to carry what litle we export.

Why are there so few American-flagged ships and what can be done to increase the number?

"Are there any conservatives on the left side?"

Yes.

Those who are temporarily deceived (either by choice or brainwashing.)
