And Milosevic was accused by hard-line nationalists for being "traitor". not supporting Serbs in Bosnia and trying to make a deal with Croates and Muslims to stop war.
I saw my neighbours spitting when talking about him, claiming that he is traitor.
And he was accused of something he was agains at first time.

The 8000 number is wrong however, the actual number of executed is in the range of 800-1200 from some sources I've heard from.

Disproved - by whom? By Serb nationalists? When a country is being split, civilized people like Vaclav Havel handle it perfectly, while bloody vampires like Milosevic demonstrate their true nature. They need to drive a stake through his corpse.

His country did not have a long history of intense ethnic violence - including killing hundreds of thousands of each other in WWI and WWII - and he didn't have a significant Muslim population/legacy. There was no significant or historical territorial dispute between the Czechs and Slovaks - they weren't mixed and feeling that they lost land to the others, nor were worried about their ethnic group being harmed if it fell on the long side of the border.
The Croats, Muslims, and Serbs killed millions of each other (mostly Serb victims killed by German backed Muslims and Croats) before Milosevic.

A witness testifying against Milosevic died yesterday, March 10. Are you sure that they said Milosevic? I'm glad you posted that. I knew that someone connected to him died yesterday, but I couldn't recall the connection.
