Good to hear CL. Both times you've been in Elgin, I've had other plans. Hoping ther'll be a next time.

I am supporting your candidate for governor in spite of his osition n the immigratioon. I am still and always will be a Roman Catholic first. I am not likely to agree with you in substance on the immigration. Send back the drug dealers and coyotes. Keep the decent folks yearning to live a better life and eager to earn it. They will eventually replace 50 million (and counting) slaughtered babies (Roe vs. Wade, et seq.).

I admire your dedication and want you on my team whenever that is possible. That does not mean that I want to bar socially conservative Mexicans from my country. The Junior League is not going to overturn Roe vs. Wade. When it is overturned, we can talk more seriously about the immigration.

Of course, realistically, we are about to witness Congressional elections in which the GOP will side with the anti-immigration sentiment and use it to keep control of Congress and the Senate. I will admire the result but not the means.

If you are living near Rockford now, let's meet face to face with other Freepers over dinner some night. You are sure to be in the majority on the immigration but at least we will be less tempted to enmity when we actually are acquainted with one another rather than firing at each other with our respective keyboards.

Whatever our disagreements, may God bless you and yours.

10-4 thanks for your extension of freindship.

Though the campaign is keeping me extremely busy, I will try and make time to meet up.

Thanks again.

I caught Illinois Freeper Roseanne Pullido AKA chicagolady on Neil Cavuto!!! She was poised, forthright, confident, well-informed and assertive. She had that illegal immigrant apologist who was on with her looking defensive and uncertain. Kudos and Venceramos!!!

"grassy area" ? I thought for sure the author would use the phrase "grassy knoll" to invoke emotional, rather than logical or factual analysis of the situation.
