You stated your post was for Freepers who vote Republican, well guess what? WE ALL VOTED REPUBLICAN. Duh!

10% to 15% of Freepers do not vote Republican and they certainly did not vote for President Bush. Go and review the FR 2004 polls regarding who the freepers were going to vote for.

Again, stop your whining and do not vote for the Republican party but instead stay home, vote third party, or you can even vote democrat.

Good post.

Double talking allies need to be looked at more closely than ever. The game changed after 9/11, although jmnjohnnie apparently didnt get the memo.

"stop your whining and do not vote for the Republican party but instead stay home, vote third party, or you can even vote democrat."

Well guess what. I've voted Republican all my life. I voted for GWB twice. As a citizen of the USA I will vote for whomever I choose and that vote will go to the Conservative that actually stands for Conservative ideals.

Regardless, just who do you think you are? I and every conservative will vote who they want with out your simpering harping and until you yourself have citizenship in this country, you can take your bloviating and put it where the sun doesn't shine.

Congress critters are more interested in voting for unconstitutional bills than upholding their oath of office. As to stupid, maybe some are, but more are bent on slowly slipping the reins of our government into UN hands.

Regarding the ports issue, I think only U.S. companies should run our ports. We have a "Homeland Security" department and yet we allow any foreign-owned company to operate our ports? What insanity!

And I believe that too many people that are contributing to this thread saying that it's ok for Dubai Ports World to operate our ports, are ADDLED; they are too carried away with the desire to support the Bush administration and are not thinking straight. I consider that a form of fanaticism.

>"Your statements that "nothing is going to change" is only a statement of YOUR FEELINGS, not facts."<

-I stated my *opinion*, which is based on considering the history of trade with other countries that we have had diplomatic snafus with.

>"Please stop insisting on posting your feelings as facts."<

-I'll post my *opinions* as I choose. You are also free to post your *opinions*. You can state your opinion that the relations with the UAE will go to hell in a hand-basket, merely because this port deal fell through.
Hope for the worst, believe whatever. That's your free choice, and I don't really care.

FWIW, stating an *opinion* on an *opinion* forum does not make the world go round. No one cares.
You may also wish to believe you have some powerful influence over others through the use of intimidation on this forum... but the fact is, no one gives a rip, or pays any attention to your emotional rants.
