Rick Ross, huh? Well, I'm sure he, Janet and the BATF have a "final solution" to this problem.

I'm working hard here to disappoint one woman. Why on earth would I want to add two more to the list?

You almost got it.
The LDS church has asked the producers to issue a disclaimer that the show, staged in one of the most conservative towns in Utah (Where I work) does not represent the LDS church.
It is a hit piece because they will be referring to 'Mormons' in it. Law suits would only draw attention.

Yes but in Saudi he's expected to beat them regularly too. And wasn't Number Four usually a trade-in model, so he could get 'married' for a night or two when he felt like it?

Although I'm not a member of the LDS church, I lived in Utah among LDS members for 17 years. I know how strongly they oppose polygamy in modern times. They will react with disgust to this new show.

Eh, maybe it's in your cache, so you see the correct one...or maybe I'm too thick to get the joke.
Was your first pic supposed to be a graphic that merely says "High Traffic costs have forced me to disable hotlinks. The EAS webmaster"? Cuz that's all we saw before the pic of Stella Mudd.
To: Ro_Thunder
Actually, that would be 3 mothers-in-law.
Scary.

You Got it.
We had the letter read to us this past Sunday from the pulpit letting us know this was coming. No word yet on whether or not HBO will run the disclaimer.

Anyone want to take a stab at how long this lasts? I cannot see this lasting long - maybe one season. I could be wrong, but that's what I think
My guess is longer than that ONLY because it is on HBO which is much different than the three network channels. They don't have to have as big of numbers as the networks do.

Fall-out from the Homosexual Agenda... That would be a Mormon agenda. Where do you see homosexuality in this?

Free for all-Anything Goes which is a fall-out from the Homosexual Agenda... This is actually a conservative religious theme being put on display. Quite the opposite of a liberal "anything goes" theme.

What the women would hear from Arab women was that beatings did happen, but in most cases, not brutal.
The getting married for a night or two is a Shiite temporary marriage that Sunnis don't allow. It allows marriage for an hour, day or year, etc.
The Koran allows men to have sex with women other than their wives (not married women), but of course women cannot without being guilty of adultery and the punishment in Saudi is stoning to death. It does take three eye witnesses to prove the crime (that's hard to do).
I did hear from people that had worked in Kuwait in the late 70s that the Emir (equivalent of King) of Kuwait would get married every week (after a talent search) and if the woman conceived keep the child and perhaps the wife (not sure how that was done-Koran allows four wives at one time). If she did not conceive, he would give her a dowry and she could marry another. The story was that they sent 3-4 school buses to pick up all the Emir's children. It appears that he was going for Ramasees II's record.

Well that is news to me..I will research.
