Dolly Parton on deck singing a gay song. Gay as in light-hearted and happy? Or gay as in queers?

(Casey Sheehan, thank you for your service. I'm proud of you. Even if your own mother isn't.)
Barney won't take off his uniform because he's afraid that Sam the butcher from the Brady Bunch will beat him up if he does.

I love the actress who was nominated for Constant Gardener but the movie I thought sucked.

Not in my opinion. It's great watching these nimrods from Holly-weird just stare blankly as joke after joke goes over their head.
It is solid proof that liberals are incapable of laughing at themselves.
Jon Stewart is doing his best to make the show watchable while admitting how dry the thing is. Meanwhile, the pampered millionaires in the audience keep wondering where their cocktails are.

Willem Dafoe and his date (it says)

That's when you know it's a really bad movie.
I always know because it's then my husband walks out.

Nicolette was not that huge 'up top' when she did Knots Landing. (I don't know why these girls bother to wear tops?)

"Best Costume" is listing out several films that were otherwise well-snubbed: Walk the Line, Pride and Prejudice, Memoirs..., etc.

And now, nominated for a lifetime achievement award in the category of boycotting the Oscars: Mr. Mulliner.
Woody Allen and George C. Scott were the all-time champions back when the Oscars nominated films people actually saw.

What's the difference (if any) between the Oscars and the Acedemy Awards? Has that happened already too? I never rent any of those movies that have those wreath-things by them.

Gay as in light-hearted and happy? Or gay as in queers? Gay as in a tune from TransAmerica.
