Not a misspelling at all, but a typo. "done" was supposed to be DOWN.
But then, if that's the only thing you can pick on, you have no quibble with anything else I said. How nice. :-)
To: Pukin Dog
That is because, though sad to admit, you are not in the majority. Yep. One of my biggest fears is that, when the music stops and the really bad poop hits the fan (and it will), most sheeple will sit around waiting for FEMA instead of fighting off the bad guys and the bad stuff. I'm not convinced our current national attitude would have survived the depression of the 30s. Sad, indeed.
Still love your rantin' style - thanks for taking the time to screw them together.

Dog, I read through most of the posts and everybody SEEMS to miss a major point you make. The MSM is helping the Dems by driving a wedge down the middle of the opposing forces (the anti-dems).
I think FReepers are way to issue myopic to taste victory. "We won but some of the spoils are spoilled. So let's loose." They are crazy.
In the grand scheme of things if DW/P takes over a few terminals what difference does it make except to the haters and those fearful that they cannot compete in the global economy at a personal level. I mean really...

Exactly. Who is ultimately responsible for Katrina? The people that live there. The entire Gulf Coast is a hurricane zone. You must prepare. If you get hit you need to rebuild or move on. Sure we should and will help, but the ultimate responsibility resides at the feet of the "victims." There are WAY too many people (including FReepers) that want to blame everybody else. If Bush gets through the Ports deal and you do not like it you cannot blame Bush - only your own ineptitude. What a bunch of whiners. How about the Kelo people? They are YOUR elected officials taking your property. They are not MY elected officials taking your poperty. The SCOTUS said, "Change the law." Now I am not saying Kelo is a good decision. but really people stand up for your rights, change things, but no whining. I have this bad news, if you want to see your local gubmit working look in the mirror.

I wasn't telling "people" that. I rarely talk that way. I was responding to one person's insult. The appropriate response to an insult depends on what was said.

If it "reeks of Liberal" to say the "feel" of an election is bad, then you'll have to define a whole lot of people as liberals.
Just because someone uses a word that liberals like to use doesn't prove anything.
You reek of "fool."

Hey PD! Fred Barnes sounded like you and Miss Marple tonight on Brit's show. He made the point that pretty soon these Republicans will be wanting President Bush to help campaign/raise money for them.
To: nopardons
We are in serious trouble in the House, and the Senate prospects are better for the Rats than for us. The governorships aren't looking good either.

It would be interesting to see some political analysis defending the stupid vanity piece that began this thread.
But it's easier for y'all to insult me, apparently.

I guess our little lists we enjoying concocting are bogus. By the time team Bush is done with the Dems, the Dems will look like the Whigs looked in the early 1850's, a burnt out hulk. We just need to get out of the way of the coming GOP tsunami.

Prove it! Post ALL of the seats, in vulnerable districts and the numbers.
And this far out, remember that NO polls are valid. :-)

I noticed this thread when it first went up but I didn't bother reading it when I saw who wrote it. I'm sure the pep rally is very rousing and all that, but credibility must be earned and the track record here leaves much to be desired.

Those people are FRINGERS...you know, the UNAPPEASEABLES, who are so far to the right, that they're left!
The dogs in the manger, who always want to snatch defeat, from the jaws of victory. The last time they were happy, was during the 8 years Clinton was president, because the rest of us were miserable too.
To: Pukin Dog
not quite sure we will win big, but we will keep the House.
The Senate probably as well, though we may lose a seat.
