Exactly. Who is ultimately responsible for Katrina? The people that live there. The entire Gulf Coast is a hurricane zone. You must prepare. If you get hit you need to rebuild or move on. Sure we should and will help, but the ultimate responsibility resides at the feet of the "victims." There are WAY too many people (including FReepers) that want to blame everybody else. If Bush gets through the Ports deal and you do not like it you cannot blame Bush - only your own ineptitude. What a bunch of whiners. How about the Kelo people? They are YOUR elected officials taking your property. They are not MY elected officials taking your poperty. The SCOTUS said, "Change the law." Now I am not saying Kelo is a good decision. but really people stand up for your rights, change things, but no whining.
