I loathe housework...that'll teach my dear sweet departed granny to try to train me to be a "good housewife" when I was seven.
How is everyone today?
To: Billie
Awesome graphic! But from you tis a given 'cause they always are!

Cute thread, and I know exactly what you mean, Dolly.

I do think there is a genetic link of sometype.. some really wee little ones are very orderly & their twins are chaos unlimited. Don't be too hard on Grandma.. in her day to be a good wife was to keep a clean house & cook a good meal. To some men/women that is still the top priority.
God made us like Ice cream.. some vanilla, chocolate, butter pecan & some peppermint. All a little different & all a good for someone who is our match!

Why do I KNOW THIS IS TRUE? I have this feeling you always look like you stepped out of Vogue & your house always looks like House Beautiful did it!
Bravo!

What time is dinner, June? Shall I dress? I think she would make me take my muddy hiking boots, pants, coat, gloves all off outside her gate & hose me down before I could enter the property!!!
John and I had a great hike with pooches. Up & down ravines...thru streams. Found some treats along the way. Dogs had a great work out & so did we. Took a lot of pix (John always takes more). Might post a few later

Billie, I mean to crop & send you the wood carving of just the western boots from your thread from yesterday. It was one of the multi carvings groupings & I thought of you when I posted it. Did you see it?
The artist was wearing boots like them

Glad all had a nice hike. Hope you do indeed post some of the pics...

Well, don't surprise me by dropping in today - I am still in pj's, with Vicks on my chest and throat, and the bed is not made, 'cause I'm about to get back in it. :(
Am congested and coughing and feel rotten. (So here I am, ignoring the house and reading FR) :)
