I wonder if Hollywood has made the connection with brokeback and having the worst year in decades? LOL~

I always used the think the classic SciFi storyline of hostile aliens happening across Earth and setting out to destroy mankind was trite and made no sense at all in the context of an enlightened, technologically-advanced interstellar-faring race.But then I read articles like this....

Google search shows more than 38 million references to the film, although only about 10 million people saw the movie. Ten million? You wish. Much of the box office was from multiple viewings in the sodomite community...a few million, at best.

Paul JJ Payack, the head of Global Language Monitor, said the movie became a cultural phenomenon that generated a million jokes, according to Google. I live in 'sodomite central' (New England). 'Sodomite Mountain' was in and out (so to speak) of the local cinema in one week.
