100% agree
Yes, it DOES distort the issued, but that hasn't stopped most others on line or hard copy newspapers and magazines, and talk show hosts and talking heads from spreading that lie, about the Dubai firm.
Saudi Arabia and Dubai also send planes to American airports daily. It would be far easier, to arm one or more of these planes, with any number of different kinds of weapons, including dirty bombs, than to have anything funny going on in the container terminals.
bttt
Exactly so!
I guess, this company doesn't lease ports they use companies like P&O to handle their cargo.
I guess so.
Sorry for saying owning, but ultimately I don't think it matters whether they own or lease a termnal. As when "the Japanese" bought Rockefeller Center, it is not like they could take it home if they got mad at the US.
Similarly whether they own or lease these terminals, the terminal stays in the US and is operated according to US law and under the eye of US security authorities.
I saw the post.......thanks. :-)
OTOH, your closing paragraph is spot on!
I never liked him ( not the man, I did not know the man; didn't care for his body of work ), but it is sad news.
I'm as outraged as the time I found out the UAE deal would control 6 major ports. My outrage was trumped when it was revealed the actual number was 21.
I guess I'm consistently xenophobic, racist, and anti-globalist. And it certainly shows that I am ignorant of just how far and how deep this crap is.
I notice in your picture of the freighter that the WTC is in the background. Let's truly remember 9-11.
...the Hannity's are too stupid or stubborn...
They have a shipping subsidiary stationed stateside with 2 offices. They probably don't own or lease the ports but probably lease the terminals because of type of barge specific equipment.

I'm sure that he was a nice man....I've never seen his name on any antiwar/anti-America ad, taken out by the usual suspects.
"I'm as outraged as the time I found out the UAE deal would control 6 major ports. My outrage was trumped when it was revealed the actual number was 21. "
Rather than being 'outraged' over this 'deception', you might want to look into it first. Wouldn't it be a waste of 'outrage' to find out that the UAE deal to manage (not control) 6 major ports is, in fact, 6 major port locations at which they will operate 21 terminals? just a thought.
