According to Schumer, airport security isn't such a big problem nowadays.

I've been pretty interested in reading the posts of people who actually do know how ports are run and have actually been to the ports.
It's the best part of FR, IMO; and when you read what they have to say, it makes this uproar all the funnier.

Yes. They didn't want to have to deal with union goons.

By the way, wasn't the reason we rejected China from buying an oil company because the buyer was state owned? What is okay about this company being state owned?

I've been noticing that lately..NOTHING last more than a week anymore in the MSM. Don't they see that their non issues arre exactly that NON ISSUES,the hunting accident , things like that . They just go away , meanwhile the Dems make fool sof themselves time and time again .

Obviously they have little choice in the matter. They must support the dummies no matter how ridiculus they appear. And we always have to remember, the millions of viewing audience that do not go to the pains some of us do to sort through the tripe to see what perhaps represents proven facts.

Port Everglades is WIDE OPEN. The people checking IDs are less qualified than those taking tolls on the Turnpike. All you need to get in is a fake ID and the name of an arriving ship and there are several a day. There is NO security getting out of Port Everglades which is probably the busiest in the south.
Just google for crime and ports and you will find all kinds of stories of inside jobs in Miami. They names a hispanic not Arabic.
The whole thing is just pathetic. On this topic FReepers are ignorant as they come (not all, but most). I think a little middle east justice is what has the Port of Miami worried. I would much rather have the UAE in charge vs what we have now.

Exactly. The President needs help 'splanning the issues. His staff let him down - not the first time. Usually there is some Rove-a-dope. This time I think it is ball dropping and pile-on.

IMHO, this was a hit planned by big labor and the congressional Dems that too many pubbies got suckered into. Peter King signed on because he also gets Longshoreman money. The unions fear a cost-competivie operation like DP will give them trouble come the next contract negotiation.
