The voice of common sense, and hopefully, we'll listen before Iran goes nuclear. If Muslims are rewarded for indulging in murderous rampages, why in the world would they'd stop?
As for moderate Muslims, those who pick and choose what to believe of the Koran, they're undoubtedly terrified of speaking out lest wild-eyed relatives and neighbors hack their heads off. So they cower and say nothing and after a while realize that evil pays. (There's an old saying about the triumph of evil when people of good will remain silent.)
Muslims immigrate to Europe, etc., and breed like rabbits. They're told to marry infidels, convert them, and have children in order to overwhelm the country. Just the other day there was an article about Germany...they want Christian/native Germans to bear more children. Evidently they've noticed demographics aren't in their favor.
First of all, you are little late in the argument if you think we are condemning others (in this case muslims). Study up on islam and you will find it is a cult (not a nation) that treats its own women are children worst. In fact, I would rather be aborted than be born into islam. It is hell on earth.
It is also a wee bit presumptious of you to think I am not trying to prevent abortion in this country. You might resist the adhominem if you wish to strengthen your case.
As you know (or ought to), islam means submission. It is coming to enslave you or kill you. Do you think you should wait until your own nation is perfect before you defend yourself.
What you are suggesting is tantamount to telling England at the beginning of WWII that they should not defend themselves against the NAZIs until they had cleaned their own house. Sounds rather silly on the surface, doesn't it.
If you want to appease or apologize for islam, go right ahead. This a free country...but it won't be one for long if islam gains the upper hand.
If fundamentalist muslims can, by threat of violence, silence the press all over the world (with a few brave exceptions), they can certainly cower the poor moderates muslims in their crowd.
As you say, who better to know the seriousness of the violent threats than a moderate cousin or neighbor of a fanatic.
In nutshell, stop apologizing! Become tough and threatening. You'll be surprised to see how soon these "valiant" jihadis will head back to their Pandora box.

But,they are a people who have to be lead by somebody.But the somebodies that lead 'em now are nobodies.
