...is NOT ruled...
*sigh*
Well, it seems that he's both. The church seemed to reach an organizational zenith with him.
But with success came scrutiny.
I dig the clambake.
I think they are on a netherlands server now to escape the nuts.
Did you do K-12 in Catholic school?
If you did, you'd be in on the jokes.
There's a difference between a joke and flame-bait church-bashing.
You knew which direction you were going.
Germany did ban the practice of Scientology.
Of course not. Your Amish. LOL
Heheheh... No, he does not believe in any sort of supernatural beings. He believes in himself and his own ability to make his way in life. This is the real Satanist doctrine. As I said in an earlier post, they are VERY conservative. Self-reliance is the biggest thing about Satanism.
You (like most people) seem to think that Satanism is a religion. It is not. It is an ANTI-religion. They HATE all religion. Religion to them is a lot of superstitious bunk and is to be ridiculed at every opportunity. As I said earlier, they do and say a lot of the things they do just to tick off and ridicule Christians. All the "Satan worshipping" stuff is just a front. I saw a news show one time where they did one of their fake rituals for the camera, then had a good laugh about it afterward.
No, he doesn't believe in any kind of supernatural anything. No godlike beings, no devils, no angels, no magic/magick/majik/whatever... All of that is just funny to them.
Go read some Alastair Crowley stuff. He is (was) their true founder, and explains everything very clearly in plain English as to what Satanism really is.
Please disregard all Crowley references... :)
I never really claimed to be a Satanic scholar, I just know what I see and hear on tv, read in a couple of books, and hear from my bro.
Please accept my apologies for even trying to talk about something of which I have very little experience. However, I KNOW I am correct about true, modern-day Satanists just being militant, hard-core atheists.
"BTW, Intel is opening a big fab in Vietnam, which is great. I went to Vietnam about a year and a half ago and enjoyed it, its one of the most capitalistic places I've ever been."
Hardly. The Vietnamese govenment still controls much of the economy. For example:

Actually, there are different kinds of Satanists. The ones you refer to are the religious Satanists, who are really more occult humanists than anything else. They basically see Satan as just a symbol for all that is verboten, and all that is desireable. ANOTHER kind of Satanist is the Palladinst. Palladinists see Satan and God as actual beings, and belive that the former will eventually overthrow the latter.
Since when do Freepers take Rolling Stone articles seriously?! Bah. I have never liked Scientology, but if Jann Wenner decides Scientology is wrong/bad/evil, maybe I'll reconsider . . . |
Hey! Think less clearly . . . By zeeba's thinking, we could also make the case Scientology really is a cut out for Navy black ops guys! |
I took a photo of a scientology table with 2 cultists doing
stress screenings outside a Walden Bookstore at Aurora Mall
in Colorado yesterday.
Lots of lost kids there as fodder for the cultists to suck in!
I did not comment on the sect. I commented on the exerpt selected by 'Central Srutiniser'.
Thanks for the info.
I stand corrected as to Scientology being as desperate as Islam to suppress open scrutiny.
