The Muslims best bet is to get control in Pakistan where there are already Nuclear weapons.
Infidel collaborator Musharaf has been an impediment to the Muslims, but he can be assasinated. They have tried about 4 times in the last few years but missed him. They will keep trying, no matter how long it takes. -Tom
Countries with Nuclear Weapons Capability
Acknowledged: Britain, China, France, India, Pakistan, Russia, United States
Unacknowledged: Israel
Seeking: North Korea,1 Iran2
Abandoned: South AfricaConstructed but then voluntarily dismantled six uranium bombs. Belarus, Kazakhstan, UkraineWhen Soviet Union broke up, these former states possessed nuclear warheads that they have since given up.
THAT is why it will not be allowed to get off the ground. Somebody will preempt. The loss of life will still be tragic. But the loss of life in a nuclear world war will be a catastrope for the entire planet. Nuclear winter will follow. Humanity will perish.
The Imams of Iran naively believe they will survive and ride out the response. There will not be an Iran after the attempt to attack Israel.
We won't leave Israel swinging in the wind.
If we did I would no longer be a loyal citizen of this country.
Where it gets interesting is when China comes out on Iran's side.
Just out of curiosity, what country do you think will survive (and, if you survive), how will you get there?
The point is that if the Imams start hurling nukes, there is no place to run to, no time to get there, no place to hide from the effects.
And so will the global economy.
Utter disaster for us all.

Ditto that. I don't think W would abandon Israel, but who knows about the next Prez. It seems as though our values as a nation can change over night, depending upon the outcome of any particular election. It's scary.
I thought it was Nuclear Global Warming now.
Didn't say I had anywhere to go. I said I'd no longer be a loyal citizen. Emphasis on Loyal.
I'm not so sure I can count on W to stand up for Israel. Wouldn't be PC, at this juncture.

Here is a link to the Bible Codes page for 2006. Note that August 3, 2006 is supposed to be a bad day for Israel.
Whether or not you belive in this stuff, if makes for some interesting reading and speculation.
Any idea what the date of the pogrom in Gaza last year was? I know it's early in Av, but I don't know if it's the third or fourth. Anyway, Av is a bad month for The People.
Couldn't find anything when searching the code site for Gaza or pogrom.
However, the May 23, 2006 is also supposed to be a bad day for Israel.
August 3, 2006 is Tisha B'Av in the Hebrew calendar--always been a bad day.
Here are some of the words used for Aug. 3: Tribulation, war, Israel, China, violent.
For August 4, "You will blow up, cry out"
That's not even remotely possible in my humble opinion. For one, they're too far to send any kind of reinforcements to Iran. They cannot challenge us on the seas, and, further more, they could not even mount a feasible Taiwan invasion at this time. It's a complete lose-lose for them to join in on Tehran's side. And that's if they could keep the lid on their own internal unrest.
Aw, cmon, there would no nuclear World War. What we're talking about, here, is a limited exchange. Less than we detonated in the atmosphere on our own soil in the 60s. Iran would spend one and Israel would spend about 10-15 and that'd be that. I'd be far more concerned about the world wide economy in the toilet for a decade after all ME oil had to be extracted in radiation suits that I'd ever be about 'humanity perishing'.
But you're correct. They won't be allowed to attain one. And no, the Mullahs would not survive the response. Plate of glass comes to mind. Including the mountains.
Did you forget the /sarc?
