Imagine that, Jimmah Carter supporting a plan that will hurt national security. He would turn over all our oil refining operations to Hugo Chavez if he could. And nuclear reactor operations to Kim Jong Il.

Sorry about that last post. I'm doing too many things at the same time. If Carter is in favor, it's GOT to be totally wrong.

Just the fact that Little Jimmy Carter backs the port deals tells me that they are not a good idea.

Carter's gotta support this deal.

After all, he's the guy who set up the Panama canal for ownership by the ChiComs.

Now, if he will support our nuclear operations by the Iranians or the North Koreans;

He'll have a trifecta!

Odd how even COndi Rice is scurrying over to the UAR to be sure that they will work with US and END their ties to Hammas and other terrorist organizations.

Bush had better RETHINK the OBVIOUS here.

Nix the deal or be a joke when he says he wants to "keep us safe". This is legitimate RED MEAT for the demoncrats.

If you simply do the opposite of whatever Jimmy Carter advises, you will be right more often than if you listen to the wisest sage.

Since when did Jimmy Carter's opinion become relevant? Or Al Gore's? Neither were worth a damn when they were in office and nobody cared...why does the media believe that we care now? Jimmy Carter was not heard from in the 1980s and 1990s...all of a sudden in the last 3 years this guy is in the papers every single day!

WHO CARES?

If I ever had any doubt about the wisdom of the ports deal, Carter's endoresement has convinced me that it must be even worse than I suspected. He is the award-winner for bad judgment. Therefore, if he's for it, it must be horrible for our country. Among other tragedies, he is responsible for all the evil that has gone on in Iran for the past 25 years, including the current nuclear threat. Thanks President Carter. The world would have been a better place if you had stayed on the peanut farm.

Carter agrees? Proof that this was a bad decision.

''The overall threat to the United States and security, I don't think it exists,'' Carter said on CNN's The Situation Room. ``I'm sure the president's done a good job with his subordinates to make sure this is not a threat.''

If Amy Carter also says it's okay, then it must be good for the country.

President Bush is taking a battering from fellow Republicans, but he got a boost Monday from an unlikely source, frequent critic and former president Jimmy Carter

lol.....I wouldn't exactly call it a boost.

I suspect the fact that the incompetent traitor is on his side is giving the President nightmares.
