It's an empty law, in the event of a crisis or emergency the feds or the state government can suspend any law they please. It's a empty bill designed to make the legislator look tough and pro-gun. The truth is, if a disaster hits flagstaff, the governor or legislator or a federal agency can and will override that law.

The only way to stop the government from taking your gun is to shoot back.

"The only way to stop the government from taking your gun is to shoot back."

Are we to assume that "shoot back" implies that someone shot at you first?

If a disaster happens and the government is coming out to take my gun (instead of you know helping people who are in need) then I would say the odds are good that they are willing to use deadly force. I am not advocating shooting cops by any means, but in the event of a major disaster, there are times when local and even state governments become drunk on power and corrupt or "dirty". Sometimes you have to be willing to use deadly force to defend yourself and your rights against perverted agents of the government.
