"At the risk of being redundant: I understood Islam when I finally realized that emulating the life of Muhammad is the first order of business for the faithful Muslim. And what an awful life he lead."

Right! A Christian lives Christian faith by being a follower and emulator of what we see in Jesus. We can expect other religions to be the same. If Mohammed (PBUH) is a prophet of God, his ordering the killings of critics, his execution of unarmed men and boys after a battle, his use of scripture to justify enslavement and rape of women, his judgment that women are 1/2 the worth of men in courts, even his marriage to his own duaghter in laws and his polygamy in marrying nine wives - all is worthy of emulation to a muslim.

If Muslims are doing the same, and really mean it, I fear for peace in the world. The world cannot tolerate 1.2 billion wannabe warlords.

Marwan's Daughter & The Farce of Islam's Hurt Feelings .......  I read this. Very good distillation of the Mohammed the Muslims have stupidly made into a god

http://jihadwatch.org/archives/010230.php

The global cartoon rage, which continues to increase its death count every day -- a priest in Turkey, an Indian sailor in the U.A.E., a Danish lawyer in Moscow, plus protestors in Afghanistan and elsewhere -- points out a key problem for the world's Muslims. For them, Muhammad is even more important than Allah. Cartoon rage demonstrates that definitively. Muhammad is the center of the religion. His sayings, his acts, his silences, his everything, are essential to fleshing out the 80% of the Qur'an that is comprehensible. (The remaining 20% is susceptible of being understood, it seems, if one follows the advice of Christoph Luxenberg and reads parts of it as remnants of the Ur-Qur'an, a text in Aramaic, or Syro-Aramaic, or Syriac, the Aramaic of Edessa, which must have been the language employed for the first versions of the Qur'an since at that point Arabic was not yet a written language.)

And here he is, Muhammad, the model for all time, for all mankind. Uswa hasana, al-insan al-kamil -- as far as Muslims are concerned. It is for his “honor” that Muslims are ransacking KFC’s and setting Ronald McDonald afire.

But Muhammad is not the model for all mankind as far as Infidels are concerned. Those not completely brainwashed by the cult of personality par excellence that Muslims have built around Muhammad will make up their own minds about him, based on their own readings of the Hadith and Sira.

And there is no mistaking what Muhammad was really like (his life of evil), or at least how he is portrayed in the earliest Muslim sources. The Hadith and the various biographies of Muhammad simply do not differ in the essential details of his life. They do not differ over either his acts or his reported sayings. There are only differences in the judgments upon Muhammad made by Muslims and by non-Muslim scholars such as Sir William Muir, Arthur Jeffery, Tor Andrae, and Maxime Rodinson.

Thanks for the ping, Fred. That first picture is one of the most disturbing pictures I've seen in quite some time.

When will this Country acknowledge who our enemy is?

It is time for islam to be obliterated!

Ah he$$, and I thought there hadn't been any of this in the US yet. Funny how it didn't make the news.

They are afraid. Britain knows that there are to many in country to make a crack down now. Much the same situation that you see in a high crime neighborhood. The cops won't do much, because they are out maned and out gunned.

Here are som thoughts from Flemming Rose upon the cartoons:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/02/17/AR2006021702499.html

Well, the situation with the muslims against the christians in Denmark seems to be even more critical in any ways. Even so-called moderate muslims have shown desire for restrictions with regard to freedom of speech/expression, and it will therefore be impossible to create any friendship with the many islamic reunions in DK.
The Social Democracy (Labour) will according to recent polls loose several of their parliament members, and the right wing government consisting of The Conservative People's Party and Venstre (The former agrarian party) will be gain many more parliament members. However the most radical consequence is the fact that the extreem right unfortunately wins in this struggle. The more or less nationalistic Danish People's Party will perhaps become bigger than The Social Democracy (which is the opposition to the right wing government).

Many Danes, who before had the opinion that we have to be tolerant towards the muslim minority and their - in many examples - fascist-like opinions. But now these people realise, that this islamofascism is a threat to the modern democratic monarchy, which we have developed since the first edition of the constitution was signed by among others the former Right Party (now the Conservative People' Party).

Even some progressives (liberals in american context) say that we cannot in any way restrict our freedom of speech. However, the most extreme progressives still think that we have insulted the islamic world and we should apoligize.

Thanks for the PINGS Fred,

The pic in post #29 (by whats left of the WTC) is one that particularly infuriates me. Its like the swine are dancing on the graves of all those lost souls and mocking them.

Thats it... I'm in no mood for the religion of lies and evildoers today. Or their apologists.

The Bushitler trope. Islamofascists sound just like Democrats. They're both deranged.

Those who want to impose the Sharia on the rest of us should be told to leave if they don't like our way of life and our open society.

Why do they care what infidels think of their religion. I have a low regard for it and given their intolerance of criticism, I see no reason to view them as people who want to accept American values.

Any one who criticizes bomb-belt wearing Muslim homocide bombers is a candidate for murder. Charming expression of civility from the folks who brought us 9/11.

I've got a Debbie Schlussel.com pic I thought you might be interested to see what they really think of Jews:

This was actually from a demonstration in Pakistan this weekend but Islamonazi isn't that far from the truth as an adjective. The picture says more about Islam than all the words in the world will. For Jews, the fate they have in mind for them is crystal-clear.

Thanks, you've just given me a reason to repost this:

The Arab/Muslim Nazi Connection

THE AGENDA OF ISLAM - A WAR BETWEEN CIVILIZATIONS

WHAT THE QURAN TEACHES!

"Mainstream" Islamic site "Islam Q+A": Can the Muslims live in peace in Palestine? (KILL THE JEWS!)

OFFENSIVE WAR FOR JIHAD (EXPLAINED BY MUSLIMS)

...the importance, reward and requirement for the Muslims to perform Jihaad Fi Sabeel Lillah i.e. physical struggle:

...the saying and actions of Muhammad (Salalahu Alaihi Wasallam) show that Jihaad definitely is to start (offensive) fighting the kuffar to make the Words of Allah the highest and to propagate (da’wa) the call of Islam. Muhammad (Salalahu Alaihi Wasallam) said:

"I have been ordered to fight the people until they bear witness that, ‘there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is His Messenger’ and they establish the prayer and the zakat. And if they do this, then from me is protected their blood and their wealth except by the right granted by Allah."

As for his (Salalahu Alaihi Wasallam) actions, they are full of actions that show Jihaad is to start the fighting. So when he went out to Badr to take the caravan belonging to the Quraysh, this was going out to fight, this is offensive – as Muhammad (Salalahu Alaihi Wasallam) initiated the action before the Quraysh. Likewise, when Muhammad (Salalahu Alaihi Wasallam) invaded Hawazin in the battle of Hunayn, when he (Salalahu Alaihi Wasallam) seiged Ta’if and the battle of Mutah to fight the Romans and the Battle of Tabuk – all of these are evidences to show that Jihaad is to start fighting kuffar (offensive). This should clarify the erroneous view that in origin Jihaad is defensive...

And this is the Ikhwans (Muslim Brotherhoods) most influential poster boy - Sayyid Qutb (his brother and Abdullah Azzam were Bin ladens and Ayman al Zawahiris, ideologial mentors):

"It is not the function of Islam to compromise with the concepts of Jahiliyya (the ways of the infidels) which are current in the world or to co-exist in the same land together with a jahili system. Jahiliyyah, to whatever period it belongs, is Jahiliyyah; that is, deviation from the worship of One Allah and the way of life prescribed by Allah.

It derives its system and laws and regulations and habits and standards and values from a source other than Allah. On the other hand, Islam is submission to Allah, and its function is to bring people away from Jahiliyyah towards Islam. Jahiliyyah is the worship of some people by others; that is to say, some people become dominant and make laws for others, regardless of whether these laws are against Allah's injunctions and without caring for the use or misuse of their authority.

Islam cannot accept any mixing with Jahiliyyah. Either Islam will remain, or Jahiliyyah; no half-half situation is possible."

Azzam and co:

This is a fight with an ancient people. Think outside the box. The symbols of the savage's religion must be discredited or destroyed so that the adherent will question the god he is praying to. Traditionally, ancient wars were over when the savage's temple was occupied and its idols were smashed. The war is over when the loser considers that its gods are not as strong as the loser was led to believe. I leave the particulars of this strategy to be worked out by our war planners, other vigilantes and agents provacateurs.
