I know we here on FR love to rip on France, but over there, they've got this part nailed down straight. It's a-o-k over there for a guy to take notice of an attractive woman, and the women appreciate the attention.

He also has referred to women as “little girls” – a term celebrated by some women who have worked for him, who say he treated them with respect. After a campaign ad in 2002 suggested he was unfair to women, some former employees held a rally and waved signs that read, “Little Girls for Schaefer.” Of course if it's a Republican, like Bob Packwood, he's toast.
