We'll probably hear a lot about this in her 2008 campaign ads. And I'm sure that the media will remind us of it every chance they get.
After all, Hillary is the epitome of moderation and centrism!

The Clintons would not allow uniformed Pentagon personel in the White House. I recall that Chelsea told a Marine guard that her parents didn't like them.

Hillary's medallion is inscribed with her famous military quote: "We loathe the military."
Hearing this inspires hatred, pure hatred. She must never achieve her aims.

How hard would it have been simple to have done the title corrctly by saying this:
Hillary Clinton receives symbolic award from the Military Order of the Purple Heart
Thats it. Most people would have associated the title with her getting the REAL one. Come on.
To: Carl/NewsMax
Through pompous self promotion, Hillary just lost more votes. Her ship will be sunk way before the '08 primaries. Way to go dumba@@.
Just give Liberals enough rope and they'll do the rest.

"...Mrs. Clinton received a symbolic award from the Military Order of the Purple Heart "in recognition of her inspirational leadership and dedicated service to Americas military service members and Americas veterans." This, the woman who is known (and quoted) to LOATHE the military?

So what does Vince Foster get?

Oh my God, it`s true...How many hits of LSD did these people take standing with Hellary? What`s next, Michael Moore getting the Congressional medal of honor?
"Now hand me the purple heart while smiling or you will never see your family again!" " Yes Hellary"

She didn't like seeing uniforms around the White House!

I believe there is an unwritten law on BARF ALERTS on posts like this. If this isn't ScrappleFace, the Onion or some other parody website, I am not only shocked and appalled, I am disappointed in this organization for choosing Hitlery of all people.

It looks like in this case the story is factual - Hillary recieved an award, called the inspirational leadership award from an organization called the Military order of the Purple Heart.
But she didn't get a purple heart. The headline is blantantly false - a lie , in fact.
The first paragraph is a tricky construction leading the reader to believe that this is an outrage - that Hillary nominated herself and received a purple heart without serving in the military while burying a factual quote deep in the story.
This is really bad, dishonest, journalism on the part of NewsMax
I'm just about at the point that I think NewsMax stories should have an (almost certainly not true) warning.

You have to check everything they print on News Max - they print a lot of stuff as fact they only wish was true.Do you really think NewsMax would fabricate a story and make up quotes to go with it? Here's the link:

"We'll probably hear a lot about this in her 2008 campaign ads. And I'm sure that the media will remind us of it every chance they get." I will certainly mention it every chance I get, just as I reminded people that Algor invented the Internet.

The first line of the NewsMax article is misleading - the Military Order of the Purple Heart cannot award Purple Hearts so they can't give her one. Instead they award an "Inspirational Leadership Award" or some such.
Bad enough, I admit.
