To each his own, but when is the appropriate time to whip out a video of your wife having an episiotomy?

LMAL...

At halftime of the Super Bowl of course!

I agree. Watching my children being born were the most magical moments that I will never forget. I didn't need to record or photograph it to remember how special those moments were. I always thought taking cameras into the delivery room was borderline sick. People worried about recording the moment rather than experiencing it and understanding what a miracle life is.

Agreed!

As well, it's not possible to "relive" that experience. What I tell first time expecting dads is that for a million bucks you couldn't put into writing the experience to make someone else understand.

I agree with you in the sense that if you spend time taping it, you'll miss that, and you won't be able to relive the experience no matter how hard you try. It's good to have a camera though for afterwards.

After everyone is cleaned up and settled, fine. I personally made Kodak stock jump two points during my oldest daughter's first year. ;~))

Cut the cord ? They asked me the same thing. I declined.

If I hire a plumber do I want to help do part of the job ?
