. . . proud of a blase disdain for the people he serves These goofballs actually imagine that THEY are "the people he serves."

"DOUG ELFMAN TELEVISION CRITIC" "The sneer. The chill"
Not enough drama for a television critic.
Maybe he ought to still to the Olympics, NBC is providing plenty of "drama".
To: Chi-townChief
Notice the contradictions to his criticisms
Cheney: "My first reaction, Brit, was not to think: 'I need to call the press.'" Mr. Vice President, no one expected the press to be called first. It's misleading to let on that the uproar has to do with that.
And than this statement suggesting that it was wrong for the VP to not do the next thing to that.
Cheney: "I had no press person with me." Hey, heard about cell phones?

Boy oh boy, I remember when the mainstream media would howl like stuck pigs when Hillary's handlers would hand over the list of questions she would respond to.
What? oh yeah. nevermind.

We just got home from eating out.....Valentine'ss Day dinner without the crowds.
My mom complained her meal was too big and my wife complained that she couldn't finish her chocolate cheesecake desert.
I'm trying to get David Gregory on the phone to give him the scoop first.

Greta Van Susteren could probably keep this story alive til the '08 elections. Nightly updates with no content. Months of no content, years of no content. I can't stand her or her content on FOX News. She is FOX's tabloid / soap-opera queen.

I love it when people HATE so much, they make complete idiots of themselves. Over and over and over again.
It's better entertainment than going to the movies.

"I can't stand her or her content on FOX News. She is FOX's tabloid / soap-opera queen."
Gretta's show has essentially become a television version of True Detective Magazine. But...as someone noted above, she seems to beat the same dead horse night after night with no real new information to discuss. Not my cup of tea but it must be getting the ratings because they seem to have settled on this format as a permanent thing.

This aspect of the story is getting fun.Keith Olbermoonbat is trying to mobilize the troops to destroy the sheriff and the DA down in Texas who have declined to press charges, according to some of the ten people who are actually watching his show.

Great post, astute observation!

Cheney: "We also didn't know what the outcome here was going to be." We almost never know how stories end. If that were a standard, well, I would not be writing this right now. Hey, Lynn Sweet! I'll tell you how this story is going end. This story is going to end with you guys getting your butts kicked. Again.

ROFL! Hey, I just took my dog out to do #2. Maybe I should call Dick Gregory, too.
To: CROSSHIGHWAYMAN
David Gregory.
Freudian slip.
