Holy cow! And I thought Letterman was the wacko lib of them all. They`re all freggin` idiots anyway those overpaid night show morons. Remember Craig Kilborn and his "snipers wanted" ad with a picture of a target on Bushs face? Like Clint Eastwood says "It`s a felony to threaten the President even if you don`t mean it", but they all get a pass.

"The MSM's obsession is showing."
The word "obsession" hits the nail on the head. This has gone past ridiculous into downright weird. What, after all, is this about? It is not really about the shooting itself, but about this supposedly horrific delay between reporting the story on Saturday evening - when few would have heard about it anyway - or on Sunday morning. And the freaking press just won't let it go. Last night, CBS devoted the first 8 minutes of the evening news to this non-story. Unbelievable.

"I wonder if Her Fuehreress feels the same way about Monicagate, Chinagate, the Vince Foster suicide and a host of other scandals her co-presidency stonewalled the public over."
Bingo. If Clinton had simply told the truth about Monica on day one, the public would have forgiven him and the country would have been spared a year-long national nightmare.

What a bunch of ignorant idiot's."
It is usually a good idea to check your grammar and punctuation when questioning someones intelligence.

There were several stories about this in today's Seattle Post-Intelligencer (way-left), one of which quoted the state Democratic Party chairman, comparing this to Chappaquiddick. He actually lied - uncorrected by the reporter - and said that Cheney failed to get Whittington medical attention and failed to call the police, but simply drove away in his car. Why tell the truth when the media will protect your lies?

Wow, will I remember to make myself clear in the future.
I was referring to the media.

Number one reason they did not release it fast enough: They were busy being human, taking Harry to the hospital and treating him. Sorry if David Gregory can`t understand that, but this is what human beings do.
More like, this is what grown-ups do.....

I really am disappointed that Ari Fleischer is saying anything negative about the WH response.
Some love Ari because he was so "sexy". He was OK...but he left because the job was tough. McClellan is the real man IMO. He has what it takes to endure longer than Ari could. And Ari is wrong. There is nothing wrong in how this story was handled by the WH or the VP IMO.
