Teachers? What teachers, dude?

Yeah, I saw the "profile" piece NBC aired on Johnny Weir. The executive producer who approved that piece of crap ought to be sent to work at a public television station in Northern Alaska. Glorifying and giving air time to such a smart aleck kid was a waste of time. He thinks the world revolves around him...no sense of obligation or history or care for anyone else. A real jerk.

His swan outfit put me over the top with the red-gloved hand which was supposed to be a beak!
LOL - tell me about it. You could almost hear him asking his costume designer if there was anything else he could think of to make that outfit any more "fabulous."
I mean, good God. Rudy Galindo thinks he's a flamer.

His swan outfit put me over the top with the red-gloved hand which was supposed to be a beak!He actually named the beak Camille. I'm not sure if that's funny or horrifying. I am sure that he's so uber-flaming, it's a small miracle the ice doesn't melt under his feet ;)

Just out of curiousity, did Stalin like gays?
BTW, the US skater who refused to skate on the team relay team and stated that he didn't care what people thought of him...should have been immediately sent home on the first plane out of Italy.
To: rbmillerjr
I doubt Stalin would've liked them any, since they gave out medals for women having 6-10 children. Higher rank the more they had.

I disagree. If he admires Russian culture there are plenty of ways to show it without using the "CCCP" logo. The familiar "POCCYA" hockey jersey is a very recognizable way, for example. The more I read about this guy the more I'm convinced he's making a political statement. I am very much not cool with people getting nostalgic about the Soviet Union and glossing over its brutality.

If you notice, all the judges keep fire extinguishers handy at all times in case Weir bursts into flames!

There are a few ways of looking at this. Wearing stuff belonging to defeated former enemies goes way back.
I have some Saddam currency pinned on my bulletin board. It's not because I like Saddam, it's a reminder of the brave fighting men who KICKED HIS ASS.
Ditto the CCCP.

Wait a minute, he's gay??? (Sarcasm Lamp is now lit)
I have to say, the guy can skate. Did you see the super skinny chinese girl crash after a throw and almost turn her knee and hip into mush?
Seems a lot more people are falling this year.

I have to say, the guy can skate.Yeah. I love his skating. If they could sew his mouth shut and just push him out onto the ice, I'd be thrilled. I'm rooting for him to win gold, though, because I have an irrational burning hatred of Plushenko. Not sure why, but I think it may have something to do with that damned bowl haircut of his.
To: Travis McGee
Another way of looking at it is that he is the love child of Al Gore and Hillary Clinton.

Go easy. Weir could be the first figure skater to medal in both the Men's and Ladies competitions.

If he'd just kept his mouth shut and skated I think I could have tolerated that homosexual swan costume he was wearing. At least Brian Boitano wore a somewhat masculine outfit and didn't refer to himself as a diva. He was great when he won the gold. Remember?

He lost me when he started talking about "the establishment" and those "Republican types" not approving of him - the types that go to bed on time and eat 3 meals a day.
Then they showed him making a comment about his skating being something like a vodka cocaine high (paraphrase).
I noticed he was driving a nice SUV. I bet he got that from some nice establishment company. A classic limousine liberal.

The only reason AllPoop is giving this little fag an article is because he bashed the republicans and NBC saw fit to show the whole segment! Little queer!
