Yeah, I saw the "profile" piece NBC aired on Johnny Weir. The executive producer who approved that piece of crap ought to be sent to work at a public television station in Northern Alaska. I disagree. If he admires Russian culture there are plenty of ways to show it without using the "CCCP" logo. The familiar "POCCYA" hockey jersey is a very recognizable way, for example. The more I read about this guy the more I'm convinced he's making a political statement. I am very much not cool with people getting nostalgic about the Soviet Union and glossing over its brutality.
