Do you? You told Howlin in a freep mail that "Texas investigators" had nailed the VP, and then when called on it, it's really just some reporters? The link goes to .pdfs of official investigations.
Why don't you try clicking on the link before attacking?
On second thought, you seem to like to attack without the facts worked out. Good night.

Then that is rather disappointing, to say the least.

Charles Krauthammer said tonight that Cheney had to know the firestorm that was/would come because of this and wanted to give the Armstrongs and Whittingtons a chance to get straight before the press beseiges them.
He said Cheney probably weighed his options and said "Hell, I'll take the heat."
And let's face it: everything they have said they would have said even if they knew on Saturday one minute after it happened.

Do you? You told Howlin in a freep mail Sharing freepmails without permission of the sender? That's not very good FRettiquitte to do such, especially when the freepmail in question does not violate forum guidelines.

The only difference is that they would have had BLOODY GOREY pictures to go with their hyped stories.

Dumbo I read it on this thread. I didn't read any freep mail.
To: dirtboy
Actually, I do not think it stupid. If he were a normal private citizen it would not be widely reported except to generate anti-hunting legislation. In other words, it would be newsworthy only because of an agenda.
Then, if we were to think about the ACLUs "right to privacy" campaign for queers and everything else, it must surely apply here.
So, please rethink your "stupid" comment. While I was half jesting, I was certainly more than half right!

It's not a crime, but it indicates carelessness on the part of Cheney. So if I jump off a bridge, land on the street and get run over will it be the driver's carelessness that causes my injury? Or might it be that I was in the wrong place, without advanced noticed and beyond the reasonable expectation of the driver?
