Turbo Tax currently requires that you permanently disable Norton AntiVirus. It doesn't have a problem with McAfee.
Tax Cut is supposed to be pretty helpful
The trip was pretty expensive, downtown DC hotel rooms and all. I will have to try to be more frugal next time.
But I told my wife that I am going back next year, even if we have to sell the furniture.
Did Chrissy manage to spray you when you saw him?
Naw, just passed him in the hallway. But, I really wish that I had my camera ready for Major Garrett.
Norton Antivirus is also on my black list. I had several computers which it seemed make unstable. They would hang on reboot, spontaneously crash if left working for more than a day, etc.
The problems had the hallmarks of some kind of resource leak, but I never could find out what was leaking. I couldn't pin the problems directly to NAV, except that they went away when I installed AVG.
Plus, because I sometimes disinfect severely infected computers, from kids, etc, I was able to do some comparisons, and Norton was not finding everything.
You're right. It's very resource intensive and it's not as up to date as it should be.
Darn, now I really regret that we couldn't join you and tag along. I hope we get another chance someday...

Isn't CPAC just SO much fun?! ;-)
Major Garrett was at CPAC last year doing a book-signing. I missed him because we didn't want to miss Mark Levin (aka The Great One) speak during a panel about judicial activisim which was taking place at the same time.
That's CPAC for ya... you always want to be three places at the same time to be sure you don't miss anything!
