"So Amenijhad first says the holocaust never happened, then calls for Muslims to retaliate by drawing cartoons lampooning the holocaust...."

That's the odd thing. If a Dane insulted America I would insult Denmark back(if I cared). The holocaust is irrelevant. BTW, it was the Germans, not the Danes.

Ahmadnejad's unrelated focus on the Holocaust is obsessional and delusional. The concern over Western laws has a domestic facet, the fear of modernism.

Mohammed wasn't and isn't the antichrist.

The force behind this warping of Islam is the same force that is behind every religious war and genocide. The same force that leads even Christians to slaughter each other over petty theological disagreements. And it's older and darker than most of us dare to admit.

Unless Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Pagans, et. al. put aside our petty differences and unite against our Ancient Enemy, humanity is up the proverbial creek without a paddle.

Good evening (EST)

Methinks Ahmadinejad is short (and I don't mean his stature).

This is madness to talk casually of nuking Mecca. The consequence would be to turn what might have been just another war into a death-duel. The world cannot afford to lose that whole fraction of the gene pool now represented mainly by Muslims. It cannot afford to lose the United States. No matter who might win such a war, the world would lose. And what if both sides win [destroy the other] and lose [get destroyed]?

Any state or people that has anything at all left to lose, should draw a wide circle around Mecca and Medina. Any fighting that absolutely must be carried out inside that zone, should be conducted by infantry alone.

"Seriously. Can anyone suggest some other process that will make savagery reasonable?"

Seriously, and unfortunately it will require even more savagery, on the nuclear scale.

Indeed. Here's one cartoon that kind of sums it up that everybody can understand. Well, except maybe for the stuck on stupid types.

"Why? He's so useful."

He's a gift to us.

About the holocaust contest the best response is humor, someone sponsor a Ahmadnejad contest.

Seriously...the nuclear option is available and effective, I agree. But I was pondering, instead, what might CHANGE the psychology of the == mostly == Arab (male) mind. THEIR option is blowing everything up, so unfortunately, I think the nuclear option is 'speaking their language'....

And the answer to my own ponderings earlier is that there's nothing that is going to change this age=old problem of thier pscyhology. It's just not ever going to change...

In all seriousness, it's not going to change. Either us or some other country (probably Israel) is going to resort to nuclear weapons and...it's never going to change the Arab male, I am thinking.

Don't fret over how to change a barbarian. It is futile.

Yes, agreed. I guess even posing rhetorical questions is futile, in this regard. The Middleeastern populations...are intent on self destruction, by way of destroying everything, and everyone, else.

So basically leader of Iran, who may soon have nuclear weapons, is calling on every other country to rise up against the US, Israel and a few of our allies?

But this not an important story according to our faithful MSM.  Here is what they consider more newsworthy (from MSNBC & CNN):

Yep, it ain't newsworthy unless int's anti-Bush, anti-US Military or anti-American.  Glad they don't have an agenda, otherwise their "news" reporting might be slightly slanted.

Disagreed.

1. They WANT an apocalytic war with the West.
2. They won't stop until we are DEAD or Dhimmis.
3. They are INSANE, so rational arguments DON'T APPLY.
4. It's a RELIGIOUS war. Destroy their religion, and the war is OVER.

I've said it over and over and over: Fight this to win, or don't bother to fight at all.
