You recall that Reagan once commented on the value to his political career of having been an actor. he was surprised that anyone could succeed with having been one. But as we now know, he wrote his own stuff until he got into the White House, and made speeches by the hundred, the secret of his success was much like that of a Lincoln, a Douglas or a James G. Blaine: he had a lot of practice. The senator would do well to line up not only a speech writer but plenty of speaking dates.
The most important issue for a President would be appointing judges. I am curious want type of judges would Rudy appoint to the Supreme Court. I somehow doubt he would select Janice Rogers Brown.
