(5) Zircons provide evidence that radiometric dating is incorrect. There are two ways to date Zircons -- radiometrically, and by measure the amount of Helium that has escaped from the radiometric decay. The former measures in millions of years, the latter measures in thousandsGood grief. Zircons have successfully dated the earth's crust back to 4.4 billion years.
(6) The ubiquity of C14. It's everywhere in the geologic column. It shouldn't be anywhere after 90,000 years. It's even in diamonds, which are not subject to the contaminations which have been proposed to explain the other C14 data.
C-14 is generated in situ by radiation from surrounding rocks.

Why is this so hard to understand for so many?Because if God exists, He isn't a third rate biology student.

(7) The long ages view of scripture was unheard of before the 1600s. If the text really meant that, then somehow it escaped the notice of everyone before us.Did Galileo have to put up with comments like that?

Brilliant!
"Perhaps time is different from the perspective of King David, than it is from the perspective of the Creator."
Indeed it is.
"That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past."
We view time in sequential events advancing one after another; scripture indicates the Creator views his creation, time, in a lump-sum fashion.

(2) In Exodus 20:11 God is very clear saying "in six days God created"True, but Genesis 2:4 states clearly, "These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens,"
Are these "DAYS" eras of existence or are they twenty-four hour periods? I believe the former best fits because, as Ex.20:11 states, "in six days..." not "in the day" as in the singular usage.

Re:
Let me clarify right at the start. The world may be only some 6000 years old. God could have put the fossils in the ground and juggled the light arriving from distant galaxies to make the world appear to be billions of years old. There is absolutely no way to disprove this claim. Yes, Virginia... you cannot make up stuff stranger than this!

At what speed relative to the speed of light must God be traveling at to keep the scientists and YEC folk happy?

Since He’s omnipresent, it’s irrelevant.
He doesn’t have to travel TO anywhere because He IS everywhere.
But your point is well taken. Neither side is going to be completely happy with the conclusions Dr. Shcroeder draws.
