Not really. The BATF is primarily a licensing and taxing agency.
You never heard them referred to as "Revenooers"? (Get it? Revenue? Government income from taxation?)
"I find it interesting you don't care if Soros illegally screws with the price of gas, driving the price up, but you do have a problem when he does something in politics in a legal manner."
Are you dense or are you purposely trying to pi$$ me off? I told you why his involvement was germane to the discussion.
So you're not aware of the 1985 USSC decision in New Jersey v T.L.O. 469 U.S. 325? Figures.
Third request. Are you saying that drug dealing was NOT going on in the hallways at Stratford High School in Goose Creek?
There is no such law in Illinois. I have no idea what you're talking about, and neither do you.
"The intent of the law was never to snare a 12 year old child at school horsing around with a bag of sugar..."
I'm sure the judge will take that into consideration after hearing all the testimony -- especially the testimony of the boy who was asked if he wanted to try some cocaine.
They love begging the question.

BRUSHFIRE UPDATE
It seems East Aurora District 131 School Superintendent Michael Radakovich got tired of hearing from all of you yesterday over his suspension of a 12-year-old kid who brought powdered sugar to school - or as the school district likes to call it, a "look-alike drug." He apparently shut off his email account just hours after our Brushfire Alert hit the 'net. However, his phone number appears to still be working: (630) 299-5554
"There is no such law in Illinois.I have no idea what you're talking about, and neither you."
Don't try my patience. I don't play childish games and especially with little girls trying to be coy. If you have something of interest to offer now would be a good time.
That's all you were doing. There is no such law.
I see you suffer from the same disease as RP. You two sweethearts should consider abstaining.
It could cause a panic and a lot of hassle for police till they verify that yes, it's only sugar. Whether a stunt like that should necessarily be called a felony is questionable, but it's understandable that it would be a crime.
Yeah, he's an unassuming man who was embarrassed by all the compliments he was receiving. But thanks for the phone number. Now I can personally thank him for upholding the school policy prohibiting look-alike drugs, and not caving in to all the whining crybabies who only want to change the rules after they're actually enforced.
If the school has a policy, do you agree it should be enforced? Maybe you think the school shouldn't have such a policy? You'd allow the students to conduct fake drug deals in the hallways and bathrooms?
...that told another student that he had cocaine, then asked the other student to come into the bathroom with him and use it.
The resident radicals want to disrupt the educational process. Superintendent Radakovich isn't letting them.

fake, it's play.
when I was a boy we used to kill each other playing army and cops and robbers.
who cares about snorting sugar. these zero tolerance rules are ineffective and just plain stupid.
excellent work
Too bad stupidity isn't a crime, these school and police officials could deservedly get 20 years for traumatizing a child in their care.
