I think "ok" qualifies as the most popular slang of all time. It even has been borrowed by dozens of other languages. "Cool" would have to be second to "ok".

That one REALLY hit home! A Tom and Jerry cartoon. "The Zoot Suit Cat", damn near had that same sentence in it. Just too cool. :-)

Mother kept trying to say something bad about her but couldn't think of anything. Finally she blurted out "that Flapper!"
