Good news, President's consistency in honoring his campaign pledge BUMP!
(IMO, the judiciary is one of the two most important legacies he will leave this country. The other is his strength in the WoT).

"MISSISSIPPI needs to get rid of LOTT and every single person associated with him."

Mike Wallace is a great pick for the Fifth Circuit. I must admit I was surprised -- I thought he had been nominated months ago.

Lott has been an excellent Senator for MS.
That's why he will be a Senator for as long as he chooses.

You mean apart from the fact that Lott kept Clinton from being removed from office during the impeachment trial? A strong case can be made that the Senate would have had no choice but to remove Clinton from office if the public had been allowed to see the evidence against Clinton that was accumulated by the House, the same evidence that resulted in them voting FOR articles of impeachment. Wallace might be a fine man and make an excellent Justice, but anybody that thinks he is OK simply because he has some affiliation with Trent Lott is not playing with a full deck.
