This is nuts. So when are these same people going to create an independent Kurdistan?

Sawers told reporters on Monday independence could be "delivered" in 2006 if Albanians showed enough democratic maturity. Democracy bump!

As soon as Kosovo becomes independent, all the non muslims will be slaughtered or driven out. Thanks Bill, Maddie Soros and the rest of the CFR gang.
Wait til you see what they have in store for us.

Well, the best thing they could do would be to split the place, to minimize people displacement - the northern part [Mitrovitsa] with its Serbs to Serbia, the southern part with its Albanians - independent, since they wish to be. To have significant restive or, even worse, hostile minorities is cost-prohibitive nowadays.

They're laying the groundwork for Aztlan to be gleaned from the Southwestern US.
Odd how they don't mention the Albanians 20-year campaign to ethnically cleanse all non-Albanians from Kosovo when they quote the population statistics.
Of course, our old friend Ronly Bonly bin Laden, used to claim that the Serbs were happier now that they'd been forced from their homes because the news homes were better.

Some additional folks like your suggestion very, very much!
But they want to use it somewhere else, you see!

Pull out of the talks completely since the conclusion is forgone and being imposed. Dissolve the government if necessary so there is no valid authority to participate in the talks.

I wanted to give them full credit for the project they instituted after Tito's death. They certainly intensified the process.

The Albanian campaign against the Serbs has been going on for hundreds of years.
The Turkish Sultan at one point told the Albanians to stop killing Christians because soon there would be no one left to pay taxes!

Well, everything else there will result in a bloodbath, if not now, then a bit later. One could argue that if both sides mutually exterminate each other to the last man, the rest of mankind would sigh with relief [true, as both sides are rather unpleasant], but one is supposed to have a humanitarian inclination these days.

Even splitting Kosovo will effectively isolate Montenegro from Serbia...
It will also end up an "independent" nation..

Granted, a bloodbath was my prediction as soon as the USSR fell, and Croatia, etc. began declaring their independence from Serbia..
But Serbia has probably been America's one and only staunch defender in the area, even through WW2.. One of the few places American Soldiers were given aid and kept safe from the Nazis..
Additionally, the West has become a bit more aware of how dangerous Islam and Islamic nations are since the fall of the USSR...
Can we (the west) afford to create another Islamic nation in the heart of Eastern Europe?
Kosovo has surely been no "multicultural paradise"..
The albanians are just as bloodthirsty as ever, and I can see in retrospect that Serbia may have handled the situation harshly, but it looks like they were essentially correct..
An Albanian Kosovo is a future threat..
I'm not sure we can even afford the creation of Bosnia, which has a largely Islamic population..
The west, (both the EU and US) should consider carefully what they are doing..
There is a very good chance that both Bosnia and Kosovo will end up being akin to a "cancer" in the midst of Europe..
It might be best to deal with it now, rather than later..

So the Blairites, for all their help in the WoT (aka 1400 Years War), even after Theo vanGogh, even after 7/7, even after the 'Cartoon War', are still intent on feeding the Muslim crocodile in hopes of being eaten last?
Get NATO out of the Balkans, rearm the Serbs, and let them take care of business.
FR's tag line space is too small for what I wanted to put:
"And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about."
--Slobadan Milosevic, to the Kangaroo Court for the Former Yugoslavia, on the occasion when the 'Judges' wouldn't let him show pictures of Serbs beheaded by 'mujahadeen'.

The the KLA who runs the show in Kosovo will of course suddenly become very mature democratically, give the UN/NATO reason to believe they have achieved success, i.e. pulling off another big deception like Racak. Once Independence is secured every last Serb left in Kosovo will be butchered within a week maybe even sooner. They the UN and NATO know this is going to happen, repeat they know what the outcome will be. Can't see the Serbs letting this happen. This will be the start of the Albanian expansion in the region. What mess this is going to be.
F%$king penciledick politicians will sit in their comfy offices while watching the Serb slaughter on CNN. This is going to be one huge injustice. Makes me ashamed.....

Tadic Asks KFOR To Protect Serbs In Cernica
BELGRADE, Feb. 7, 2006 (BETA) - Serbian President Boris Tadic asked KFOR to protect the Serbs of Cernica, a village near Gnjilane, against increasingly frequent attacks by Albanian extremists.
Two Serbs Assaulted In Kosovo
Kosovska Mitrovica, 07 Feb (B92) A group of Albanians attacked two Serbs in the village of Suvi Do, near Kosovska Mitrovica. The Kosovo police confirmed the attack, but did not release the identities of the two victims or the attackers, adding that an investigation is ongoing. According to Serbian sources, two 19 year-olds, Nebojsa Kragovic and Mirko Jeftic, were attacked and one of the men is still in the hospital receiving treatment.
British Diplomat Says Kosova Can Win Independence
07 Feb (Reuters) - The United Nations-run province of Kosova can win independence from Serbia in negotiations this year if it shows enough democratic maturity, a senior British diplomat said on Monday.
Kosovos independence dependent on treatment of Serb minority (UK official)
(Prishtina, DTT-NET.COM) UK is the first among major international powers to clearly indicate that UN administrated province of Kosovo can be an independent state, as top British official said today that independence from Serbia-Montenegro state union is very much linked with treatment of Serbian minority.
(note: KPS is denying hearing any gunshots while on patrol...) :) right!
Police Attacked In South Serbia
Bujanovac, 30 Jan (B92) - Unidentified culprits, reportedly from Kosovo, attacked a police checkpoint in the village of Dobrosin, 16 kilometers west of Bujanovac.
Yesterday at about 5 am, the attacks came from the village of Podgradje and shot at the police base with an automatic weapon from a distance of 100 meters. No one was injured in the attack.
One bullet went through the side of a garbage can and ricocheted several times, but no police officers were hit. There are members of the Serbia-Montenegro military, the Vranje police department and KFOR staying at the base.
The Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja Liberation Army was formed in Dobrosin in 2000.
