Am I right in assuming this is shaping up to be a very good week for the 'Burgh?

Does Swann have any legislative or governance experience? Ever since that TV wrestler in Minn. and Arnold in Calif, I wonder if guys like this can lead with out any old boy net to support them.

Does Swann have any legislative or governance experience?Nah,he's not beholden to anybody.

Did Reagan? The Gipper had that Governor gig.But how about IKE? None,Zip,Nada.
And what did IKE do? The Interstate Highway System, that's all.

The performance of those two is/was no worse than the career pols.
Therefore I say go with the celebrities. Probably a lot more upside, than downside.
To: smoothsailing
And what did IKE do?and he had mamie.
At least the Gipper had been in politics and President of the Screen Actors Guild.
Oh well, Swannie couldn't be any worse then Slick Ed Rendell.

To: NonValueAdded
HA! :)
This is "Fast Eddie" Rendell's worst nightmare.
To: Always Right
Exactly, and I stand corrected!
My mistake.I was thinking about IKE while typing and my thoughts got crossed. It's not so bad being smoothsailing, but I'll never be Always Right!
LOL!

Scranton dropped out, it leaves the field clear. What more could we ask for?
To: smoothsailing
Now if Ohioans can get Jim Petro to drop out and open the field for Blackwell...then we'll have it made!

Agreed.I havn't followed that race beyond knowing I really like Ken Blackwell.
I'm going to find Petro's email addy and write him requesting he drop out for the good of the party and the Buckeye State!
To: mware
Yep, so can I.
I'll bet he tries to suppress the overseas military absentee ballots again. He's scum of the worst kind.
