Sorry. Fred Barnes has joined you and others in the Bush apologizer/sycophant club. Barnes can't be trusted to give objective analysis on most issues related to the Bush domestic agenda. I gave you the data from OMB.gov and the charts from Heritage and CATO. But since you're in denial about Bush`s liberal spending record, his expansion of bureaucracy and ignoring immigration reform, you'll continue living on the edge, outside of factual reality.
>>>> I know I know everything is Dubya's fault
Never said that, so don't put words in my mouth. When it comes to the WOT, tax cuts, judicial picks and right to life issues, Bush has done a good job.
>>>>your implication that we are not seeing the lions share of discretionary spending increase on national defense is just plain loony and unsupportable unless you fail to include wars and homeland security as part of the national defense.
Spending on national defense for the 2006 budget, is estimated to be at 17.4%. That is down from 18.8% in 2005. Estimates for 2007-2009 are 16.9%. That is obviously a downward trend using Bush`s own numbers.
It's good to have him on my side. I like Fred Barnes.
But since you're in denial about Bush`s liberal spending record, his expansion of bureaucracy and ignoring immigration reform, you'll continue living on the edge, outside of factual reality.
You're averaging 2 personal insults per paragraph now Reagan Man. I have a thick skin but I think this conversation is dead.
Thank you for your response perhaps we can pick it up on another thread.
