If the West is not willing to stand beside Denmark on principle, then we will progressively lose our freedom until we are again under the bootheel of oppression. Make no mistake: Islam in its modern incarnation is the very apotheosis of a totalitarian cult. We must all stand up against it. In the immortal words made famous by Patrick Henry, its incumbent upon us to declare forthwith: "Give me liberty or give me death!"

I was less than a half mile away in my apartment across the street from Police Plaza and lived with the smell and the smoke for months. We have to face facts, the "moderate Muslims" are the small minority and it's the Islamofascists that are the norm.

We should demand the media play the tapes of the towers burning and falling so people will never forget.
