What were the classes called? One class was just called "social justice", the other was called something like "social justice and how it applies today", or something to that effect.
The department wasn't creative with names.
In high school I also took a social justice class that was also simply self named.

BTT,
Good Article thanks for posting it. I had not heard about this judge before only knew that the 9th was overturned a lot. This puts a lot of things that I suspected about the 9th c. into perspective.

In 2000, the Barak court outlawed corporal punishmentspankingof children by parents. But that did not include clubbing-over-the-skull of children by cops on horseback.

From the article:
"Kozinski said he tries to extrapolate how the Supreme Court would regard the matter, ..." Kozinski should extrapolate how the Supreme Court SHOULD regard the matter, not how he thinks they would regard the matter. Judges take an oath to uphold the Constitution. Perhaps the author misquoted him.

I don't think this political hack of a judge was misquoted. I've read many of his decisions and must say that he is way to the left of Ruth Bader Ginsberg. That he is a federal appeals court judge is scary, but he has been held in check by the supremes, probably more than any judge in recent history. He is a complete, and educated fool, and his writings prove it.

Hes the judge who says parental rights end at the schoolhouse door Which makes the question "who's responsible for our children?" all the more interesting, when it comes to the Columbine High School shootings.

Before Reinhardt was 12, his mother, a screenwriter named Silvia,
divorced his father and married a successful movie director... It's strange that the name of his own birth father isn't mentioned
--especially since the screen writers guild was full of communists.
Convenient?
